Went there on September 21st 2017 for a bite and to have a few drinks.We ordered a pork dish. Meat was nicely seared and juicy. Then we had the ribs which was okay. And we had the beef sashimi, if I'm not mistaken, that one was good too.At this point everything went fine until we got the fried chicken. That dish totally ruined our meal. It was overcooked and super dry. I was having a hard time cutting it into piece. The breading was rock solid. It shattered into pieces like ice when my knife went thought it. We asked the waitress to send another one. The replacement was even worst. At that point, I knew that It was the whole batch that was overcooked and they keep sending the same one. Or maybe they cook it ahead of time a let dry on the counter and warm it up before serving. How can you do that. It takes 5-6 minutes to fry it, why cook it ahead of time? Their foods are not cheap. I was expecting more front them.Im not the type to bash a place, most of my ratings are above the passing grade because I consider myself as a food lover and that's all. I like to eat food without being pretentious or anything. But I know my food and I know if it is done correctly or not.Oh and If you don't like sweet cocktails. FYI, all their cocktails are sweet. Order something else if you hate cocktails that taste like sirup.Atmosphere is A1! I would go back for a drink because I really like the ambiance/vibe but not for the food nor their cocktails!

If i could give 0 I would, when we got there we got looked meanly by one of their employee after asking for her name since she had no maneers it was Leney super overpriced service is terrible from the rsvp to the bill, food taste bad, music is too lood super crowdy while you just wan’t to eat and ear the person your hanging out with. It’s an influencer place more than gastro experience.If you wanna be looked at like you are not are your place this is the restaurant !!They should review the whole staff and menu options !

Nice place but a bit overpriced. The food is average and the portions are too small. Cocktails were good and service was friendly. After certain time the restaurant turns out to a club. They turn the music’s volume up and turn off the lights. The place suddenly became overcrowded and noisy!

I went to Kampai on a Thursday for my birthday expecting a nice dinner and then a club scene after. Dinner was delicious (but ended up being quite expensive) and the restaurant was essentially empty, did not really have an ambience and it did not turn into a club after which was very disappointing for a 21st birthday. Sadly kampai did not live up to my expectations…

I expected to have a good experience but it was a bit overrated, the vibe is good and the service is great as well, however there wasn’t that much food options and the portions were so tiny, the drinks were okay as well.

I went out with my friend for a fun night out, and we were told that we needed to buy a bottle (500$) to get in because they had reach their maximum capacity. When we did get in, because our friends were dressed in a more provocative way, we realised that the bar was empty. I find it revolting that they would try to rob us even if their was no raison not to let us in.

The seafood here is so fresh. Oyster was sweet and the sashimi was really delectable. The one shucking the oyster was really knowledgeable of their food.. His recommendations were spot on good! They could improve thou their ventilation as the smoke was all over the bar area. You would smell like food when you get out of the place lol. Would gladly return again thou for the food.

Dropped in here for a drink and appetizer. Tried the maki tuna sushi and it was really good. The tuna was very fresh. There isn't too many food options, so I would recommend going here to grab a drink and a small bite rather than full meals.

The ambiance was great, service was, let's say lack of service. Food was alright, the mango salad was my favorite of the night. But food is seriously overpriced for the quantity and quality. Beware, do not order the porc dumplings, it's 12$ for 4 tiny pieces of dumplings!!! They taste the same as the frozen ones you buy at the grocery. Don't even get me started on the sangria. Our pitcher of sangria was just ice with below average tasting sofa. Will not be coming back.
