Blaisdale Montessori - Oshawa Campus

This is a beautiful school. I have found the care givers to be very kind and patient with the kids. The principal has been very accommodating of our special requests. It has been very much appreciated. She is also very communicative with us. The academic standard is high and the teachers allow the children to progress at their own pace which is why I think they do so well. They gave all kinds of special events which all the other families I know also thoroughly enjoy. I am really so happy with this school and to be frank and I don't mean to sound corny, it has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for all you have done for us and our family.

Blaisdale is such a wonderful school all the teachers are so lovely, kind and patient they make every family feel special and would I definitely recommend Blaisdale to everyone!

This is hands down the best school!!! When finding the perfect match for my boys this school checked all the boxes. The teachers are amazing, the facility is beautiful, and the curriculum was better than we've ever seen. The principal gave us a tour of the school and answered all my questions. We are so excited to be a part of such a great Montessori school!

I feel so fortunate to know that my daughter is being cared for by you team. From the first step at the door, they are amazing - their consistency and genuine joy in being there to the amazing work they do throughout the day.The welcome, the excitement to see my daughter and the fact that they know all the kids that come through those doors and treat each of them equally and with so much love!The evening team that waits with them are amazing as well. I’m so appreciative of their support and care in the evenings.It’s said it takes a village to raise a child and I am so thankful that they are a part of my daughter’s village.I have seen my daughter blossomed in their care. It is very comforting that she gets excited to come to school and walks into school as if she owns it hahaha. It’s also very funny that she doesn’t want to leave in the evening become she’s having so much fun.Overall, amazing team! Thank you for all you do!

My grandkids attended Blaisdale in Oshawa and as a family we were so proud of the education they received while there! The teachers and administration were wonderful! The school is beautiful and so clean and welcoming! It was the best money we spent to give them the most solid foundation in learning!

This school is absolutely nothing short of EXCELLENT !! I sent my little one and she was taking longer to speak than normal and I saw changes so quickly in both her speech and her confidence. Now she can’t stop talking. The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, kind, compassionate, and no doubt have expertise in their field. I have seen her learning exponentially as compared to a conventional daycare. She loves the school and every part from morning drop off to pickup is great! Wonderful staff, the Principal is fabulous, understanding, and very easy to communicate with. I have nothing but great things to say about this school. Wish more were like this and highly recommend! This school deserves more than a 5 star rating!

I could give it a -10 star. With the wrong teacher, it is not a great place for a child's development. They take offence when you ask the right questions regarding your child's development. They are often very vague. I also had the worst experience with one of the account representatives. She was extremely disrespectful and terminated my child from school two weeks before the resumption—an awful customer experience.Furthermore, some of the People who work there act pretty racistly. It is not a safe place to put your child. Please avoid this school.Update to the response of Blaisedale, Aug 30, 2020: The comments below by Blaisedale further prove my point. They have an e-transfer email confirming this was not about an inability to pay. That they would give such a lie as a response says a lot about them.Update to the response of Blaisedale, Sep 02, 2022: Yet another lie by Blaisedale. My child was terminated because I called out one of blaisedale’s staff members from being rude and disrespectful on the call. My child has been enrolled at Blaisedale for over a year and never did we have issues with paying school fees. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Payment - there are emails that Can prove this.

Zero star ! Zero star ! Zero star !I choose wrong school for toddler !Teacher have to give toddler to adjust for at lest 5 to 6 days specially that toddler who born in Covid time , they don’t know how to share , they don’t know who you are , they don’t know why they are here they are such a toddler like babies , they not allowed to very first day to do everything as they mom doing at home only !My son is only talking in English and they said he didn’t understand that , of course they not follow your instructions very first day or second day ! But later on they know is my school I have to follow some rules !So please be patience with specially toddler ! And you prefer such as toddler like sit down just follow your instructions and all so let parents know while admission process only we don’t want immature children !I changed my son Montessori school and he is doing really good . So I think so teacher have to know how to handle this type of kids specially he is alone at home in this Covid time !

If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend this school! It’s a waste of money and it’s not worth it. Most of the teachers have little or no training in education and are not montessori certified. They do not use the montessori method to teach but are not certified. I had my kids here for a few years. I had a lot of issues with them. My experience here was very bad. A teacher here was prejudice towards my child and was picking on my child.I withdrew my kids and they are better for it. I don’t blame them at all. Imagine a private school going on strike for weeks, this should tell you a lot of how mediocre this school is.The principal has no training in customer service whatsoever. When you express your displeasure at something they have done wrong, they get upset. As if you have no right to complain.If you don’t like being spoken to as the principal, you should maybe consider Changing your profession.In summary , I do not recommend this school to anyone especially this location. You are better off putting your child elsewhere.
