We had water damage in our basement. The entire crew from start to finish did a fantastic job. Special shout-out to Kaitlin and Kim. When they came into do the work Kaitlin stated “I will work on your home like it was my own”. You have to have an appreciation when you hear things like this. They were very detailed orientated and went beyond to make sure we were happy when they were finished. Thanks again everyone for the work you did. We appreciate all you did.

Yesterday Kim, was the team lead at our home. Her crew had the tough job of removing fireplace soot, that had been blown all throughout our home, by an outside fireplace company. She was very punctual, professional, thorough, and most efficient in dealing with a really bad situation. She and her team worked diligently to bring cleanliness and a new feeling back to our brand new basement. She was compassionate to what we were going through and knew what she had to do in order to make everything right again.Kurtis was first on the scene to assess the damage. He constantly communicated with us and the company who was responsible for the damage. He was very professional and made sure we had all proper supports in place, to restore our home to near brand new state, once again.We wish everyone was like them!

Belfor Restoration provided quick response time. They worked efficiently. Kaitlin was a pleasure to work with, she was on top of things and organized. Trades were here when she said they would be. Kim packed all our stuff up for us with care and labelled everything and put it all back in place after the project was complete. Others came and carried our heavy furniture out taking care not to scratch walls etc and again carried it all back down the stairs after. The actual workmanship of re drywalling, painting, trim work etc is well done. We have no compliants and would be quick to recommend Belfor to anyone else.

We experienced a major plumbing leak in our kitchen that caused water damage in our basement. The communication with Kurtis and Shaun was excellent right from the start, and continued through the whole restoration. The tear out by Garth was clean and conscientious, and Shaun checked in regularly to let us know what to expect, which was greatly appreciated. Kaitlin did a great job restoring the basement ceiling while navigating challenges that arose with some creative solutions. From the start of the work to finish, the time frame was very reasonable, allowing us to resume the full use of our home in a short time. A big thank you to the whole team at Belfor!

A big shout out to Crew Lead Dylan, Water Technician at Belfor along with his colleagues Steven and Regis for the outstanding job following a water sewage back up in the lower level of our home in Rosemount, Kitchener. Their professionalism and diligence made all the difference in dealing with this nasty situation, and I am very grateful for the quick and thorough service that they conducted in mitigating the damages. Kim and Dylan worked very hard with little downtime. Kim was very helpful in deciding what would be garbage vs salvageable. We have a large collection of fine art prints and she was so careful with documenting those. Paul and Kaitlin removed drywall and wet trim. Again they were very friendly and helpful. All of them left the area as clean as possible and kept us informed along the way. We appreciate the prompt and efficient work.

You can’t imagine how stressful and unsettling a flooded basement can be until it happens in your home. The recovery all starts with not just what to do but whom you can trust and rely on to get it done. In our case BELFOR Property Restoration was not only the right choice, but more importantly, the best choice for handling our crisis. The BELFOR Team was fast and efficient with the recovery process working hard to minimize the amount of collateral damage that the floodwater could have caused.Kurtis Greulich (Operations Manager) was our “go-to” guy. He did an excellent job with coordinating the cleanup and was our liaison with the insurance provider. He monitored the scheduling and progress of the whole project from the recovery stage to the restoration of our living space in the basement. The communication process from start to finish was very reassuring and helped to put us at ease with the handling of the extensive work that was needed.A special thanks to Duke Hewitt who did an outstanding job with executing the carpentry requirements and also Kaitlin was equal to the task of demolition, drywalling, and painting of the reconstruction. All work was done in and efficient and timely manner with mindful consideration given to respecting the access space during the construction process and cleanup of the workspace on a daily basis.The start to finish of this project was professionally done. After experiencing the unpleasant flooded basement, it was a major relief to have the Belfor crew show up so quickly!
