Excellent sushi, great value. Takeout is packaged thoughtfully (e.g., vents for tempura) and staff is very friendly. Love their super simple and convenient online ordering system. This place is such a gem, worth driving all the way to the north end for!

Fresh delicious sushi with quick and friendly service. It's a quaint storefront that's more catered for takeout.I love their party trays, it's good quality and quantity for the price you pay. I'm not a fan of yam rolls and they've been quite accommodating in allowing changes to the rolls in their party trays (as long as it was of equal or lesser value).Their chirashi don is also one of my favorites, simple but packed with delicious sashimi on top. Ordering online doesn't always work, but they often offer 10% off online orders! Love this new place, I keep coming back!!

Hidden gem of north Nanaimo. The quality of their dishes are superb, nice straight forward menu and portions are pretty good. The service was top notch and I think it's ran by a family and they are so respectful, welcoming and kind. Even all waved and said bye to us when leaving. The tempura prawns and the yam was the best I've ever had in the world, a must try, it's a nice crunch and the flavor is more rich and pronounced than many other places that do it. It's more of a to go sushi place, they only have 2 tables but many customers were going in and out to pick up their orders, busy place means good dishes. Prices were good! One of the best restaurants in Nanaimo.

Great sushi! My husband and I were out running errands and wanted to grab something quick to eat. We found this place by chance and are we ever glad that we did!We enjoyed it so much that we went back a few hours later to grab dinner and ordered more. We were very satisfied with their food. All the rolls were delicious. The fish tasted very fresh and good quality. This was way more than we expected from a 'to-go' sushi place. So glad to have found a good quality sushi restaurant on the island! We will be going back for sure.

Amazing sushi.It's so perfect. Order online and pickup 25 mins later.The sushi is so good.Salmon Maki - more fish than rice and so goodYam roll - atleast 2 inches wide full yam with some avocadoRed dragon roll - spicy tuna on top with crunchy yam bits; inside stuffed full of crab and avocadoSeriously, it doesn't compare to any sushi I've had in Parksville. So when I come to Nanaimo this is my go to sushi!!

Picked up sushi for lunch. Chilled in the establishment to some good tunes and good vibes while I waited for my rolls. The sushi was really good. They recommended a deep fried roll with crab and shrimp which was very tasty.

Amazing Amazing!! Sushi top notch. Always fresh. I eat there at least once a week. Variety is amazing. Taste is amazing, and price is very reasonable. Very Very quick to prepare the food for me all the time. Friendly staff, very respectful and happy all the time. Highly recommend.

Great Sushi and well priced -- Ordered takeout and it was made quickly. The sushi from the grab and go fridge is always fresh and tasty too. For the price you cant beat this in the Nanaimo North End! Well done Gaya!
