The Wilds at Cedar Valley Golf Course

Drove for a wedding here,(school bus), place was fantastic, lite up beautiful for the guests, food was fabulous. This Hidden Gem is wonderful Weddings. No problem getting in and out with my bus to take guests to their Hotel.

This venue is amazing!We got married at The Wilds at Cedar Valley Golf Course in June of 2018 and are so happy we did. The owners Marcy and Scott are helpful, informative, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions you have along the way. The day went perfectly and we are so happy with how everything turned out. We heard nothing but great things from our guests as well..everyone had a great time, loved the food, and they thought the space was beautiful! We highly recommend this venue..it was the perfect place to start the rest of our lives together!♡ Sam & Rory

I would first like to thank Marcy and her team at The Wilds, they were so wonderful to work with and always so pleasant. She was very responsive in replying to all my questions I had. The venue is a real hidden gem all my guests loved that it was so open and airy and the lights around the venue after dark give it a wonderful glow. The food was so wonderful and guests were talking about it for days. We had the chicken, steak, potatoes and pasta and all were amazing! I would highly recommend booking the venue.

Usually I would give this place a 5 star. Beautiful course, friendly staff for the most part (will get into that) and overall a very fun/relaxing golfing experience. Unfortunately my last experience at the wilds wasn’t so great. I went Sunday and ran into a pretty rude lady at the front desk. I asked if I could use a cart and the lady responded with if I have a credit card. I said no and than she asked for my age which is under 25. She than proceeds to tell me “I can’t do that for you” meanwhile I’ve been going for 2 years and always paid by debit. Now I’m not bothered by paying by credit, what bothered me was she gave me no heads up when I called, and made it sound like I had to have a credit card while also 25 or older. I than said is this a new rule as this is the first time I’ve heard this, and she responds with “no we’ve been doing this all summer, I guess other people haven’t been following the rules” I found that to be very unprofessional as she’s claiming her co workers aren’t following rules, and overall came off very sarcastic/sassy. I than proceeded to inform her that she should bring this up with her manager if people are not following rules. Unfortunately because of her attitude, me and my brother no longer wanted to golf and asked for a refund. I must also say some thing else I noticed, when I called and even when I get there, she was very stressed and almost out of breath meanwhile there was like 3 cars in the parking lot. The place was pretty dead when I arrived, yet she was panting for breath and being very rude. If it were really busy with like 3 parties I would understand but a couple people shouldn’t have you that stressed out. I really enjoy this park and was very sad that this happened as my experience has kinda been ruined. I hope the lady who I encountered reads this review and learns from this as 2 people’s experience has now been ruined. Other than this one experience, beautiful place to golf. Oh and 1 more thing, it was very hard for me to book a time and when I got there it was difficult talking to her because of how stressed she was. It seemed to me that she was rushing me. For example she didn’t even ask if I wanted a drink, balls, T’s, anything. I just said I wanted 9 holes than she immediately goes to the machine to get me to pay meanwhile I’m still wanting to order a drink and some balls. Now I know some of you might say that’s me being entitled, but you shouldn’t make your guests feel like they need to rush. Overall it just seemed like she wanted to get me to pay as quick as possible so she could go back to whatever she was doing

We held a fundraising event using the amazing outdoor gazebo at the Wilds at Cedar Valley and the staff and owners could not have been more helpful. The venue was beautiful and perfect for our event. Although the weather did not always cooperate throughout the day the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our event an amazing success. I highly recommend considering the Wilds for any event you may be planning. The golf course looked like a lot of fun as well and I may have to take up golfing just so that I can make use of this space again. Thank you for every single thing you did to make our day run so smoothly!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Wilds. Marcy, Scott and the Wilds staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They made the event much less stressful than it otherwise would have been for us. The venue itself is beautiful and cozy. There are plenty of scenic places for pictures. We found the pricing to be reasonable as well.Everything the Wilds was responsible for was taken care of without any issues. The food was made from scratch and delicious. Nothing but complements from all who attended. Everyone was floored by the venue. One guest noted weddings don't even go that smoothly at much higher end establishments. Our DJ was very appreciative with how helpful the staff were. They made one guest's night when they remembered to cook his steak well done, even though we only mentioned it once months past (and he never told them either). The attention to detail was phenomenal.One important thing to note is that, during reception, there's something for everyone. We had lots of guests wanting to dance (plenty of space to do so), and then we had others who wanted to get away from the music and noise and just chat by the campfire. There's lots of shade where the ceremony was held, which is great during the summer.We couldn't ask for a better venue for the best night of our lives. Thank you to everyone at the Wilds!

We held our wedding here on June 4, 2022.We started our wedding planning process in Sep 2021, and even though we had less than a year to get everything in order, Marcy made it all a breeze.She was quick to answer any questions, guided us through all of our options and had many great suggestions!We received soooooo many compliments on the venue and the food, the staff were incredible and quick to answer any questions myself or our guests had.The location for photos is amazing, everything is so well kept and they even supplied us golf carts and a guide to show us some of the great areas for our wedding party photos !Pictures do not do this place justice!!!!!

Highly recommend for weddings and parties. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is EXCELLENT and the setting is beautiful. And its surprisingly affordable. Do yourself a favour and check here before committing to another venue.

Amazing nice little golf course. Not to big, not to to small, just the right size for a golfer like me who plays few times a year.
