Small branch (5 cubicles), and understaffed. I went there early in the morning on a weekday. Everybody gets a number, so you know how long it's going to take. I waited for 45 mins in the waiting area, and 10 more in the cubicle. I highly recommend making an appointment beforehand. There's only one person working at the back, so things are not going as fast as you'd hope. Anna at the front desk is nice though!

Experience in blood drawing technique questionable... Instead of looking at both my arms first to find which one would be the better option to draw from I had one arm poked first and when that didn't work I got needed in my other arm. Nurse (who was also the front desk) was very short with me and never really got an opportunity to ask any questions such as obtaining a reference number to check my results online. After the blood was drawn she just walked away.Also I've had many needles in my arm before from getting vaccines and whatnot . I've never had a negative reaction but currently both my arms have rashes from the injection site. (and discoloured/bruised)She was probably over worked but would have appreciated some due diligence and opportunity to ask a question before abruptly walking away.

I’ve had to go here a few times over the last couple of years, and I’m not good with needles or being my blood taken. But Sheryl has been so awesome every single time, she’s caring, considerate, efficient and she is very good at distracting when the process is happening!!!

I went here to get a standard blood test done. They removed two vials. I had a massive amount of bruising and two weeks later my arm is still yellow and purple and very uncomfortable. Proper needle injection shouldn't puncture the back side of the vein and cause internal bleeding. The woman who did the procedure had been working at the front desk but she took over when the woman in the patient area went on break. I've had blood work done before and never experienced anything like this. I would avoid this clinic as there are many others in the city and I can only imagine they would be more competent.

Went there today as a walk in patient at 7:25 AM. There were 3-4 people ahead of me but the two ladies in gowns at the front desk processed us as efficiently as possible. For two people ahead of me in line the paperwork hadn't been received from their doctors yet so they had to return later. I was processed efficiently and quickly and was sent to station #4 to wait. While waiting, stations 1-3 were processed quickly and it was my turn before I knew it. For the blood work the needle went in painlessly and two vials were filled. I was given the FIT kit and was given quick instructions as I had done it before. Next my ECG was done and I was finished in no time.Later in the afternoon I was able to see the results of my blood test online under my account.I have been to this lab a number of times and so far have not had a bad experience. I hope my winning streak keeps going.

There isn't a lot of staff here, but the employees are very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Despite the wait, it was a very positive experience. If you don't have time to wait, make an appointment ahead of time through the LifeLabs website. The people who had appointments were seen on time from what I saw. Be aware that they close once a month (during normal hours) for staff training.

Absolutely the worst lab I have been too, primitive. The bathroom had zero toilet paper and complete mess. Told the lady, she said she never changed the toilet paper and don't work there, but did grab a roll. The girl that took my tests missed a vial and had to come back, again. Her excuse was too many paper work. Waited over 2 hrs because they are so inefficient and also they didn't tell me when i registered that I had to do 2 urine tests until it was time to do them, so I had to drink water there and waited until I was able provide sample. The person that did my blood test was also the receptionist, so not very experienced at all. Unbelievable how this lab is able to remain open. The one in the Medical building on W.Broadway 100% better. They have long lines but they are efficient and fast. I had 3 people in front of me and waited that long. You be the judge.

This lab is often understaffed with usually only two technicians - one at the desk and one doing the blood draws in the back. So wait times can be long. However, they are very friendly and really seem to be great at easing people who are nervous about needles through the process. They are also really great with kids. They seem to be very good at finessing injections - I go there regularly and generally don't have issues with bruising after my blood draws even though I have persnickity hard-to-find veins. A good option if you're able to make an advance appointment or don't mind waiting.

Went today and had a super easy and pleasant experience! I used the save my spot" feature online and arrived shortly before my scheduled time and didn't have to wait at all. They were super friendly and I was done in just 10 minutes!! Will definitely come to this location again."

Went to 1200 burrard twice to leave a sample. Fri Dec 23. Closed due to weather. I manage to make it. Dec 24 problem with the power so couldn't take my sample and gave me a container then said I don't need an appointment to just drop it off at another lifelabs. Went to the king Ed location on boxing day guess what..closed due to weather but not updated on Google map. Now at round house location and treated as a walk in and waiting 30 min to leave a sample. C'mon guys you can do better at least update hours on Google map so people don't waste time. Need some alternatives as a monopoly has no incentive for providing better service.
