Absolutely one of the worst companies I have ever worked for in my entire life. I was told in orientation that I would shadow somebody for a week and learn the jobs however I shadow somebody for one hour and after that was let alone not knowing how to do the job correctly not shown any emergency stops on equipment not shown how to do certain tasks such as crate boxes that are subjectively designed for a certain part therefore needs to be made a specific way. Literally one of the worst management I have ever experienced in my life and all the new hires that were hired with me who quit or got fired said the exact same thing without me even saying anything. Kio Group leader in the Copper zone is pathetic and a coward who will not take responsibility for his actions and fire people who literally were not shown how to do the job correctly nor shown emergency procedures. Ridiculous and unprofessional

I promise you If you work there you will hate every signal moment. Also, check reviews on indeed. Firs, no training at all . Place is toxic with some people. Seniority roles there, they take much time on breaks and they talk to you as if they own the place. I wested 3 weeks of my life there.I had a group leader his name is Jeff and he’s passive aggressive. I had a guy work there his name Steve I swear he was Creeping on me every single move he was watching me. F that place

Need to fire fat security guard disrespect and keeps yelling ,us truck drivers deliver all your products and goods and this is how you treat us good job Great Lakes for hiring some like that to be your first impression

Great place to workHR is extremely helpful and always able to help.Health and safety is great and cares about the safety of their workers. The employees have a very positive outlook and majority are very satisfied at their current jobs.I reccomend GCL as an employer to anyone wanting to work in a safe and good environment with good morale.

From starting I made clear to my supervisor and the person training me of my disability (vision impairment)This was not accommodated for and I was left with minimal training alone on my first day on a station by myself (which required better vision).I sustained an injury because of this.I brought it to HR's attention and said that I would be comfortable returning to work in 2-3 days when I would have contacts to correct my nearsightedness.Instead of having me back the following Monday they just let me go.
