Sunshine Children Centre - Maple Ridge

My son has just started attending for the last three weeks. And he always comes home telling me how much fun he had and how the teachers are great and his friends are great. Happy to have my son in a safe and fun environment :)

When all childcare centers were full, this one had one spot available right away. I was wondering why but happy at the same time as I had found somewhere for my son. However, my son went to this center only for one week and he did not like it at all. The main manager is almost never available. Whenever I call, I would be asked to call later, and this is a never-ending game. The staff answered my phone was too impolite.

A gentle and warm environment for kids, staff is helpful and facility is clean. My child is learning very well here. Thanks to all the staff at this center.

I thought it was my duty to post a worrisome encounter related to this daycare. I am not a patron of this establishment, I did however have a 'very' close call on Lougheed hwy, where a driver of a van ABRUPTLY pulled into my lane, in front of me and I had to slam on the breaks. There was no signal prior to the maneuver either. I honked my horn and once I caught my breath I realized it was a daycare van and whats worse, it was chock full of children! I was gobsmacked! Scary to think that people trust the safety of their children to caretakers who drive like that. I was compelled to post this in case it helps anyone in their choosing of a daycare, and perhaps the management can handle the staff situation before someone gets hurt.

The owner loves money see money more than a customer! Talk left and right , she so cheap. My first-time experience in Canada.

My children have been attending the Maple Ridge centre for a couple of years and they love it. The teachers and owner really care for the kids. They have a summer picnic that families can attend and a wonderful Christmas show! Highly recommend!
