Had custom belt made to fit my custom buckle, Very very nice. I was anticipating it to take at least a couple weeks for fabrication and a cross Canada delivery but came in under a week from date of order.

I met Jamie in the early 1990s. I was looking for leather to use in the repair of an old pump organ when I stumbled across his leather shop set up in the basement of his family home. I was welcomed in and provided with expert service. Jamie was patient with me and shared his experience as he helped me select the right leather for the job I needed to do. Since then I’ve always been able to count on Jamie and his staff for friendly reliable service. Last week as well as providing me with the leather I needed he went above and beyond, lending his expertise and custom cutting some felt for me. I really appreciate this establishment and highly recommend them if you are looking for leather or custom made leather products.

The local Leathersmith in Woodlawn. I was in his shop the other day because God told me to build an arc and save the animals so to speak. Just kidding and an untimely jest, I agree, but I had too many drinks and started coming up with great ideas again. This time it's a crafting project and I needed Jamie to provide me with tools and material. I enjoyed my experience here in this kind of, Mom & Pop shop.We're lucky to have you so close by, Jamie.

I recently purchased a belt for my husband for Father's Day and while in the shop I saw a blue purse that I ended up purchasing as well. Both were very well made. I am going back to have some more products made as gifts.

I purchased two buckles from Leathersmith, and used them to retrofit onto a leather bandolier made in 1910. Thanks to the precise buckle measurements that Jamie sent before my purchase, the fit was exact. Also, the design was an excellent match with the older hardware still on the bandolier.I really appreciated Jamie’s willingness to go the extra distance in measuring the buckles and responding to my queries.Also, the quality of the buckles was excellent. Solid all the way through.
