Applestone Park

Love this park, it is great for all ages. We’ve been going to this park for a couple years and has been our go to park since we found it with my now 10 and 3 year old children.2 complaints that I’m writing only in hopes someone will see and fix it.- when it rains the park gets flooded in the swing area... really bad. The children still enjoy playing in the huge puddle though lol, you just can’t use the swings at the time it’s flooded.- there is no washrooms anywhere close to the park, this is a perfect park to stay at for hours because of its size but you have to leave & hope the circle K down the street will allow you to use their bathroom. I’ve seen many kids go behind the trees... this park really needs a portable bathroom.

Great park overall for all ages. It was clean too, no garbage floating around. Only complaint is the small rocks in the swing area. Just have to wear shoes or feet will be hurting!

Several large play areas including a really nice toddler zone. All the nice poured in place rubber surface except for the swings. Hugely varied levels, including some really difficult to climb stuff. Very easy to get there off Stoney. Lots of free parking, though I could see it being a gong show some weekends. Lots of locals using, with some seating Areal destination park. Recommend going there for sure.

Great quite playground with a big climbing structure for small toddlers, a pretend play booth, lots of swings, and another giant climber for older kids.

This park is awesome. It really a place that friends can take their kids N enjoy adult talk time as well. Lots to do

Park is fun, loads of space and lots of things to play on, the kids enjoyed it. At the moment the park is not very well maintained or cleaned. The bin was overflowing with rubbish and there were multiple areas in the playground with some broken glass. I would suggest the the kiddos keep their shoes on. Would have given more stars if the condition of the park was better.

I don't have children, however I take my nephew here. Super awesome park! I wish we had these when I was a kid. Very safe, good parking PLUS built in xylophones!

It’s a small park but not bad for the small kids living around. Although, needs some cleaning and repair work but still it’s a option for kids entertainment. Parking available on site. Sewerage system needs to be repair. Huge space available to upgrade the facility by adding more options for the kids and even for the parents to walk and sit around while kids are playing in the park

Lovely playground and huge play structures for all ages but it was covered in litter. Plastic straws and broken cups everywhere. Other garbage found included sparklers, disposable masks and a condom. Come on, folks, respect public spaces and put trash where it belongs. If one bin is full, use the other one.
