They cancelled my appt without telling me and when I got there they rescheduled me. I took a half day off work and the cost of travel was a complete waste. Not impressed at all.

Horrible place and treatment of patients. Doctor abitol will never actually see you in person just telephone after his nurse is done with you. They have no phone number!! So if you want to reschedule or cancel your appointment you can’t even talk to them. What a joke of a clinic

Dr. Abitbol really listens to you, and tries to work with you.

Dr. Twum-Barima is a terrible doctor! My mom was his patient for 18 years for her thyroid. Suddenly she was dealing with a pituitary tumour issue which falls under the wing of endocrinology and hormonal issue and instead of trying to help her through the symptoms and debug what was wrong he refused to see her and marked her file as to be referred to another endocrinologist. He told her he is retiring and she believed him. He also sees 2 other people in our relatives and as she was telling them one day, and they mentioned he has not said anything about retiring and he continues to see them!! He is indeed not retiring, what a shame... Hopefully you do not have to deal with this. The last few visits were him being tired of hearing my moms symptoms and treating them as not a big deal as if she is exaggerating them. Please please find another endocrinologist currently she is visiting Dr. Bole he is amazing and was able to find out my moms problem and she got pituitary surgery within just 2 visits. Dr. Twum Barima clearly does not have bare minimum patience to deal with his patients and as soon as he heard my mom had an issue that required more than just the bare minimum yearly checkup appointments, he ran so fast and told her to go visit someone else. Please do your research before visiting him, it was a waste of one year of my mom's life and thank god her problem was not life threatening at that point and she was still able to get it treated but it could have been much faster with a better endocrinologist and could have gone a lot worse if she didn’t switch to Dr. Bole. The best thing he did in hindsight was give her file back to the family doctor so she could find another endocrinologist.

Was mistakenly diagnosed with Graves diseases in July 2020 and prescribed medication to start treating it. I opted to do an out of pocket test for final confirmation. Test came back negative. Came back to the doctors office, was told Sorry

Best Doctor. I have been going to Dr. Abitbol for a long time. He listens and manages your treatment based on patient needs. Respition is great with quick appointment booking and change.

Updated review: Dr.Abitbol is one of the most amazing specialist I have ever met in my life! When I was first referred here by my doctor, I had a horrible experience with Dr.Kahn that left me in tears and feeling hopeless. I received a reply and got in contact with Dr.Abitbol. We spoke about everything and I was able to sit down with such a great doctor. I do not regret writing my honest review because I now have the most supportive and honest doctor I have ever met. He has not only guided me through my whole situation dealing with PCOS, but he has educated myself and my partner on my condition. His honesty and kindness is what the medical field needs more of! He does not rush your appointments, and he takes the time to really be there for his patients. The staff at the clinic is amazing! I will definitely recommend Dr.Abitbol and this clinic.

This clinic clearly does not care about their type 1 diabetic patients, I have requested for an in-person appointment several times over the past year and neither Dr. Alex Abitbol nor Elinor Fridman, the dietitian, seem to take my request seriously as every time over the past year and a half they keep changing my in person appointments to virtual ones to suit their own personal schedules and think it is no big deal. The Oakville LMC has not taken my vitals: weight, blood pressure, etc. in nearly two years. I understand everyone wants to work virtually but if a patient is requesting to be seen in person then a doctor and dietitian's personal preferences should NOT take precedent/priority over what the patient is requesting. Thank god for my family doctor, who follows up with me more frequently and actually cares about my health as a type 1 diabetic. Seriously disappointed by the LMC.
