UCMAS Abacus & Mental Math School

Amazing teachers… great place to learn…My kid goes for UCMAS and Chess and he is having a great time… lots of learning and have seen a lot of improvement… would highly recommend this class

The math program at Gems Learning Institute is amazing. My 8 year old is proficient in doing math problems. Highly recommended especially if you want your child to improve in math.

Terrible experience with Madiha in Oakville on Sixth Line!! She filled in for Ms Li and what a mistake! Very rude and unprofessional; clearly has no ability to communicate effectively!! She hung up the phone on me when questioned why my child came home in tears from her class…!!! She tormented my 3 children in class during Ms Li’s absence - standing over them and shouting unnecessary comments - such a disgusting personality!!! I will be escalating further!!!

I graduated from the UCMAS Mental Math program last year. It has taught me a lot and has really helped me doing quick math when I need it. Ms. Madiha and the other teachers are the best teachers I could ever ask for. Thank you for helping me throughout my years in UCMAS, Ms. Madiha.

Two of my children go to the UCMAS Oakville Sixth Line center. They have been enrolled in this program for the last few years now. This program is outstanding, and both kids are doing very well in the UCMAS program and school, especially in Math. The teaching staff is excellent, especially my kids teacher Ms. Madiha is one of the best teachers we can get for our kids. She ensures that kids are up to the mark, uses an abacus, and provides regular feedback. As I want to be part of my kids learning journey, I love the feedback and reminders to use an abacus when my kids sometime do the problem school way and don't use the abacus. I have seen many kids graduate from the UCMAS Oakville Sixth Line Center, and kudus to Ms. Madiha and the teaching staff to teach them in a fun environment and build their confidence. This is the only program where I don’t struggle to take them to class or do the homework. Quite honestly, I enjoy doing the homework with the kids as this is out of a box program, and I learn abacus while helping kids with the homework.I suggest looking for Ms. Madiha's classes in this center though all the teachers are excellent and they have many teachers. Many families, which i know, have a great learning experience in this center, and kids are learning very well, so thank you, Ms. Madiha, for teaching my kids. It is the best investment I have ever made for my children.

My son started the UCMAS Abacus and Mental math program at the age of five and half. Now he has completed all levels in about 3.5 years with significant improvement in math thinking and calculation. He often surprises me with his fast yet accurate mental calculation in multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. He loves all the teachers and the challenges they encouraged him to take. He participated three UCMAS annual competitions during the entire program time and his best record is winning the national champion in his age group. Thanks for the consistent learning and practicing provided by UCMAS, my son is now way ahead in math in his day school class. His classmates even call him King of Math"

While searching the internet several times to find the best UCMAS center in Oakville, it was found Gems Learning Institute is the best in Town. Why are they the best? It was observed through several points:1- They teach kids to practice doing Math and Mental Math all over the course, depending on each one's level, focusing on training Kids' minds to solve it faster before using different methods.2- Focusing on the kids' work in the classroom and reviewing their homework.3- Great staff with the most knowledgeable and skilled teacher, Mrs. Madiha.I highly recommend visiting Gems Learning Institute for parents who wish to send their kids to progress in practicing Math and Mental Math.

My son loves the numbers and he is happy to take UCMAS class and enjoy the teacher's class with the peers. The most happy thing I fee is that my son can improve focus ability.

My son Ayhaan has taken different courses at UCMAS for over 3 years. He took Gems squared one year. The course followed school syllabus and strengthened his basic concepts like multiplication and division. Ayhaan also learnt Abacus for 3 years at UCMAS. It has improved his mental calculations and has improved his confidence. Both of these have helped him build confidence at school. I highly recommend these for all young kids.
