Just had a vasectomy done at the clinic. I would recommend this place to all my friends. Very friendly staff and a amazing doctor. There's a parking garage right around the corner that made for an easy in and out from the clinic

Seriously outdated. The pillow on the bed is covered in blue bed pads. The entrence fee of $331 doesnt make sense. Everything he sugested to me I knew already feom basic internet searches. I thought I was getting better help but thats not the case. Dont bother coming here.

I brought my husband here a few years ago. At first he was hesitant to go because he was embarrassed about his situation. After some coaxing, he decided to give it a shot and hasn't regretted it ever since. They make you feel welcome from the very moment you step through the door to the follow-up appointment. Not sure why people are leaving bad reviews for having to pay a fee, they tell you right away what it costs and what it covers. Recently went here for a vasectomy and I can’t say enough about how good this place is, definitely worth the extra drive and highly recommend.

A one time entrance fee is actually a yearly fee. I was told it was a one time and would be good for life - they either changed their policy or provided false information. This is in addition to taking down your health card number for further charges in the back end of the health care system. The office is old and has not seen a single update since the 60's. To me this is a scam operating under the hope of helping men. If all you want is a prescription - just see your GP. All other 'procedures' are VERY expensive and come out of your own pocket. The drugs are the same cost if purchased from the clinic or drug store. There is no value here. If you are looking to pay for a referral service then this is the place for you otherwise don't waste your time.

I am a 54 year old male and attended the clinic for a vasectomy. Like others, I had heard my share of horror stories surrounding what has become a very common procedure. From my first contact onward, I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The staff is friendly and there to assist. All potential risks were discussed at length, leaving no stone unturned. The physician was friendly and immediately put me at ease, chatting throughout the procedure effectively taking my mind off what was going on down below. I followed his instructions to the letter. The result? Absolutely ZERO pain, ZERO discomfort, ZERO ache, ZERO swelling. I have heard many outcomes involving days of advil and ice packs. Follow his instructions and all is well. My experience was 100 over 100! I would highly recommend this clinic. Clean, friendly, knowledgable, courteous, professional. Even the music was great! Thank you for making this visit exceptionally easy.

As good as it gets for a vasectomy... I was initially very skeptical of this place after reading all the questionable reviews - and even more skeptical when I found out they charge you $250 for a vasectomy, when it is completely covered by OHIP at other places.... However, it came highly recommended from a few of my friends who all had their vasectomy done here with ZERO COMPLICATIONS, whereas several of my other friends who had it done elsewhere all shared various horror stories... So I paid the price, booked an appointment for within a few weeks, and had a flawless operation. Dr Hirshberg was excellent, and the men's clinic provided me with all the things I would need that you don't get from a free clinic which includes:- an optional sedative (Adavan) yes please!- a numbing patch to use prior to freezing- a jock strap- 2 ice packs- a tube of polysporin & a stack of gauze- juice box after the procedure lolThey have also recently moved locations, so I'm not sure what the old one looked like, but the new place is clean and modern.I waited for 2 weeks to post this review just to make sure everything was ok first - I am finally back to normal, never had any swelling/bruising/bleeding, and the scar is almost already completely gone.Not gonna lie, the recovery sucks, but the procedure itself is quick and painless here, and I would highly recommend to anyone contemplating a vasectomy!

Yes they charge a small fee for admin, but turnaround time was almost TOO good. They initially offered me a date for a vasectomy a week after I had the discussion with the doctor, but I had to opt for a later date (3 weeks out) because I'd made plans. Everything was very professional, very careful, and they set you up for success with all the equipment you'll need. Just be sure to read over the emails they send so you don't ruin into any issues with the follow up tests. I highly recommend this clinic to anybody looking to get this procedure done

Don't even think it. The guy is a GP with a business model. He is fleecing OHIP. period. Full Stop.
