Riverhouse Restaurant
This is one of my favorite breakfast stops in the entire area. If I am leaving from Dawson or Fort St. John I will save it and eat at the River House in Chetwynd. Love the food, love the atmosphere.

Nice clean place, cool atmosphere. Place was pretty busy with one server doing the rounds. Had the burger and fries and wasn’t disappointed. My beer was ice cold and that was a nice thing on a hot day. Recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Menu is outdated and lists items that are no longer available. We did not find this out until after 20 minutes had passed. Drinks were left empty for long stretches, food was overcooked or did not come at all and waitress was totally confused by simple billing. Will never be back.

Went for calamari and seafood linguini.. food served hot and was good.. i have seen calamari plate larger for cheaper (14$) but they were good.. linguini was good (24$) and a good portion..service was not super fast but friendly.i dont have any complaint except i little expensive for the plate size...i will go back but will not order calamari..

This place has been amazing staff and all the owner is absolutely great and it's a real shame that during this time people are not being more understanding of the wait times we are evacuees from tumbler ridge as are many others an hour or so to wait for this kind of food is worth it I've had nothing but great service here and I've enjoyed talking to the owner each time I come in even provided my daughter with Popsicles as we wait! If you are looking for a great meal definitely stop by here you will not be disappointed.

We were evacuated due to the wildfires and I cannot give more praise to the wonderful owner and staff here. They have been so amazing; staying open late, helping us with any questions we have and just providing us with some much needed rest.This place is a real gem in this community and we can't thank you all enough for all the help and amazing food!
