2001 Audio Video

We would not recommend the Barrie location.We recently purchased a new TV. Upon install, the unit was malfunctioning. We returned it to the store. After discussing with the Sales Associate, the Manager was consulted. It was determined the screen was damaged and immediately implicated we were the cause. We experienced a very negative attitude. There was no further effort to resolve. We have been left feeling very disillusioned given the company's mission statement of providing customers with the best service and courteous sales people.

Great service guys . Manager was amazing . He gave us a great deal, was very knowledgeable, wellDress and courteous. We have shopped in other places before and staffs weren’t pushy on making sales . This is a Canadian own store and we like that . Our tv was even delivered and step up by manager and staff. The 2yr warranty was great . We will shop again , Ty.Mark

Back in February I purchased an LG 85 inch TV had nothing but issues LG had office gave me a hard time wasn’t happy about that. The TV was purchased from 2001 A/V in South Barrie, Ash is the store manager in South Barrie and Scott‘s customer service for 2001 A/V these two gentlemen help me 100% to rectify my problem with LG without them. I probably would’ve been fighting with LG still special thanks to Asher and Scott for a great and smooth transition very much appreciated.

Always have a pretty good experience with them. 2001 just seems stuck in the past though with a lot of things.

I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Paul provided exceptional service in selling me the projection screen I needed for my living room. And when I needed some assistance in hooking up my projector to my screen Liam was so helpful on the phone big shout-out for Paul and his team and thanks again Liam for taking your time with me, one pleased and happy customer! Wow, I'm not sure if it was because I'm a woman or if the gentleman staff member in the store is just uninformed 40 experience in stereo speakers however, I just had the worst experience ever at this store. 1st of all a sign on the door clearly state absolutely no entry without a face mask thank you for your cooperation. However the men in the store is only wearing a mask on his mouth. Does he not breathe? I don't get the impression he takes cove very seriously. The coven Situation aside, he had no desire to speak to me about the quality of wall speakers at all. I will not waste my time in this store ever again.

Great experience purchasing stereo receiver and tower speakers. The sales rep, Ash, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Went back a few days later to purchase a sub woofer, had two different reps and they were excellent as well. Thank you.

I called the store about an amp I bought from them along with a 65” tv and complete surround system. I had a simple question about the amp. The person who answered told me right away that he didn’t have enough experience to help me but would get the manager. The same guy came on the phone and he was instructed to tell me to call customer support for the product. I did try this first but was met with an answering machine saying Monday to Friday. I asked to speak with the manager instead of a go between and he brushed me off. I spent a little over 5000 dollars in this store. I am confident the manger could have solved the problem or I wouldn’t have called. Customer service actually means something to some people. I am shopping now for an 85” and not one cent of it will be spent at the south end store.

I walked in and asked the guy at counter if he could come out and see what i have as my cars radio deck and reccomend an upgrade, he stayed behind the counter, gave me a card and told me to call them instead. Chrysler 200 btw. Not helpful at all will not be coming back.
