I highly, highly recommend Crispin and Urban Theory Design! She made renovating an easier process from start to finish. She listened to my needs and wants and used her beautiful vision and creativity to design each of my projects. I was less stressed knowing that she would find reliable and meticulous contractors who would carry out the renovations. Her product choices and suggestions were always of quality and chosen with my budget and my wish list in mind. I really appreciated that she was available throughout the process to reassure me, to answer my questions, and to make sure everything was completed according to the designs. After having Crispin design and complete more than one renovation and better than I ever envisioned, I know that this is what I can expect when working with Urban Theory Design!

I contracted the services of Urban Theory Design to assist with my kitchen renovations. I was truly impressed with the thorough and collaborative services provided and her patience in listening to all my ideas. Crispin demonstrated a firm understanding of my vision and shared back relevant trends (i.e., materials, colours, finishings, hardware) and suggestions on how to make the new space functional and aligned to the rest of the open concept design of the main house floor. The highlight of the reno is the island which Crispin custom designed for me and a consistent topic of compliments when I entertain guests. Crispin is an absolute joy to work with. She came into our home, listened to our vision and was able to assemble a grouping of products that were exactly what we wanted and needed. Crispin has been a Designer for decades and it shows. She transformed my 80's bathroom to my favourite room in our house! She truly is a designing visionary and an amazing human being also! I would trust her for any future projects to make my home look timeless and amazing. Money well spent.

We hired Crispin about 2 years ago as we purchased a new house and needed a LOT of help with the design and feel we wanted for it.She met with us to get our thoughts and feelings around what we wanted in the final project - I felt she was patient and listened VERY well. She provided options for all our rooms in our house and once we agreed on a plan, she worked within our budget to make it happen.We painted our whole house (inside and out) and she coordinated and worked directly with the contractors. She sourced all our furniture and put together the final project. To this day (2 years later) we LOVE our space. It is exactly how we envisioned it to be.Originally I wanted to re-do the kitchen, however on her advice we waiting to live in it - Now we are engaging with her again to look at our kitchen. I am glad I took her advice as I see the kitchen very different now from when we first moved in.I am very happy and glad we worked with Crispin and her team - We LOVE our house and it is because she helped us.
