Horrible experience at The Royal. Full of drugs. Manager was discriminatory towards my group of friends. He was rude and pushy with us when we questioned his attitude towards us. As a frequent visitor of Fernie I will never come back to this grimey place ever again

At the royal, I was verbally harrased by two guys that were nearly double my size. The bigger individual threatened to fight me after telling me I needed to leave the bar - for simply ordering water - then as i walked outside he slammed the doors behind me and locked me out. Turns out he was a bouncer. They locked me outside in the blistering cold during the middle of winter. No jacket, no wallet, no keys, no phone. I couldve died out there. In fact i was in my t-shirt and begged for them to give me my stuff back. They refused to return my belongings. Someone called the police and the officer managed to help me get my possessions back.

Royal Hotel
The Royal Hotel is a great music venue that just ro opened in Fernie. Staff is friendly, Beer is cold and the Hospitality is great.

Great physical space with fantastic staff. Our guy Josh at the door showed incredible care to ensure a friend of mine made it home safe. Can't wait to be back.

Had a fun night here my first time in Fernie with a group of friends who are local. All the other patrons and staff were chill!
