I purchased a BR 600 backpack blower from Stewart's in May 2023. After using it a couple of times the engine seized. I brought it in and between the store and Stihl they did nothing for me other than give me the run around, I'm told I have to wait until later this summer for a new engine because they are back ordered from Stihl. I'm very disappointed that the store did not stand behind the product. I should have been given a new one based on it being brand new. I am in business and need the blower, I can't wait months to get a new engine. Engine seizing on the BR 600 is an issue with Stihl. I am not the only one this has happened to.
