Progressive Property Management

My car window was smashed last winter, the staff told me to ask the camera contractor call me, but I never got a phone call from the contractor. Today the window smashed again. I am still waiting for the contractor to call me...This service is zero star.

Landlord at 311 central avenue is crazy, steps over boundaries and likes to cause trouble for the tenants; I would suggest to never rent a property from them as there has been no action taken to make her stop with the harassment. Multiple tenants have discussed their concerns as well with me, stating this is not the first time she has done stuff like this. I left for a week to go to visit a friend and she said I left with a truck and trailer full of stuff, when I was not in the city at that time she accused me of moving out of my place and was going in to inspect it. Border-line harassment lol. They also have cockroaches.

They don't give back security deposits.I left the apartment completly clean, in order, on time with nothing left to pay 5 months ago.They don't answer emails.

PPM is my go to for renting for many many years now, I had to rent in other towns and provinces, and have never had a more accommodating, easy to deal with crew than Progressive. Cheers to all the staff here. And Thank You. Fast fixes, and friendly too.

Building (305 queen st) is infested with roaches, management did not disclose this prior to move in. Mail cannot be delivered to the building( this info was also withheld) as the landlord will not pay to have a proper lock/mail box system put in. There are homeless people sleeping INSIDE and in the alley behind (which they also try to use as parking). The landlords will not respond to calls or emails with any concerns. Stay away from this company at all costs.

My family and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent, the office workers are always very polite, respectful and willing to help in any way they can. Lots of properties to choose from, and very well maintained and clean. We rented from them for 5 years, all Maintenance was always looked after promptly and any issues were dealt with in a timely manner. Bill and the Maintenance team have always been respectful, polite and very helpful.

They rented me an apartment while they knew it was infected with bed bugs. I found bed bugs on the first night. So I moved out immediately after informing them. The neighbors had bed bugs too. But the property management did not professionally spray the building. After moving out and returning the apartment key, they did not return my deposit and the first month's rent. Instead, they filed a claim for a whole year's rent as my contract was a one-year contract. Going to court, I lost my income. The process took more than two months. During it, I learned they have many cases. So I was not their first victim. They had a lawyer to help them win poor renters. They do not care about others. My experience was so terrifying that I decided not to rent from any property management anymore. Since they usually are for-profit and miss use the rules and regulations for their benefit without respecting the renter's rights.

Doesn't care about crime, that the mailboxes are broken into, doesn't wash gang graffiti off their buildings, and blames tenants on having their car broken into. Won't let a tenant out of their lease when they fear their safety. Then when you move out they will claim your damage deposit - and a warning to anyone on social assistance, they WILL claim the government's money as the damage deposit even if you worked hours scrubbing every inch of your apartment. Seriously, I have proof on paper, they claimed the deposit one hour before I did the walk through appointment with Bill. I literally took q tips to your windows! And I got no appreciation for it. Really rude staff, only one receptionist there was nice but the owners talked to her rudely as well.

I have emailed them about the sidewalks in my area and they have not responded or have done anything, I've been on there case since last September and my condo board has been fighting them as well. It is frustrating. If there were 0 stars that's what I'd give them. Not Happy
