Vancouver has a lot to offer but a visit to Chinatown is unequaled.The Chinese Cultural Center, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden; the restaurants and the Memorial Plaza give the impression of a culture that has gone out of its way to display excellence and share traditional values.This memorial is the creation of sculptor Mr. Arthur Shu-Ren Cheng, the bronze statute of the railway worker and the World War II veteran represent the sacrifices made by Chinese Canadians in building a united and prosperous Canada.The main column is a stylized form of the Chinese character 'centre' which symbolizes Chinese Culture.We highly recommend visiting!

Not cleaned or upkept benches have been dilapidated for some time,even the Vitory Square Memorial is kept in better condition
