We have a few butcher choices in the south part of Winnipeg, but I don't think any others come close. They're nice, energetic, knowledgeable and have great product.They close at 6. I called them in a panic at 5:50 leaving work one Friday night. Was having the lads over for steak. The fellow answered, I told him I was on my way, he asked how long I'd be, I said I'd be there by 6:20. He says No worries man. I'll stay here and wait".Sure enough

Update: still wonderful! Staff are wonderful, products are wonderful, prices are wonderful. I am here almost every 2 weeks now.Gave me a beautiful cut of meat for my beef wellington at a fair price. Their sausages are fantastic too! We'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for quality meats, Marcello's is the place to go to. I've been buying meats from them for a while now. They have a wide range of meat selections and some groceries too. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating too when you make a request. Highly recommended!

If you live in the south end of Winnipeg, you have to make Marcello's Meats your local butcher. High quality meats, in-house smoked bacon is a must try and the staff are all very welcoming and nice.

If I could give Marchello's more than 5 stars, I would. Every experience we have had here has been exceptionally positive, and all of the food has been fantastic. We just ordered from here for our wedding social as well, and that was the best meat and cheese tray I have ever had. Truly a customer for life!!

When you see retired butchers frequenting an active shop, you know you're in the right place. Cuts are always clean, well trimmed and consistent (no freehand wedge steaks here) and staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and always eager to help. Custom cuts are always stellar and clearly done by experienced cutters that take pride in their work.
