Walter Bean Grand River Trail at Pioneer Tower
Awesome trail, but don't bring a dog! First time I went, found a tick on my puppy. Waited about 2 months to go back. Went back this week with my other dog, found FIVE ticks, one was lodged in his ear! It's a beautiful trail, but it's infested with ticks!

Beautiful place for a walk in nature, not too busy, well maintained. Would recommend walking the trail to disconnect from a long day working in front of the computer, to catch up with friends, or to spark your creativity!

Our walking group visited this trail. We walked from the tower to the golf course. It's a nice trail with some interesting things to see such as the tower, a cemetery of the first settlers of the area, some small ruins of old buildings, a pedestrian bridge and of course the Grand River. I would say it's worth a visit.

The Destination is amazing. The Riverside view at the time of sunset or sunrise. You will enjoy it both.

Well maintained park, small parking lot, nice trails following the river but in fact a few access to the river, nothing much to do besides walk or cycling. There is a small amusement for kids. No attractions or structures.

The trail looks really nice. But our early spring hike was cut short because of flooded low areas.The pioneer tower is a great historical site.

Beautiful trail. Great if u have two cars so u can start at one end and drive back once u hit the end over a 10km walk
