A good selection of wine and beer making supplies. The location is convenient in the north end. The selection of grains and hops aren't that large so only 4/5.

Nice staff, great specials. Great variety of products offered. On the downside.... Another customer was inconsiderate when we went to bottle and went way past their time and proceeded to inspect every bottle coming out of the washer for about 30 seconds per bottle. This appointment time was booked a month prior but we had to rebook as we didn't have hours to wait for them. It was quite an inconvenience.

When my former roommate left, he left me some of his brewing equipment, but no capper. I wanted to avoid buying one, so called around to inquire about renting. When I called Maritime, they just asked what day I wanted. Renting? No we just let it out to people" I've gone here for all my brew needs ever since. Friendly. Helpful. Well staffed. Well stocked. Welcoming. Fun."

I'm paying $6 per bottle of premium wine that tastes better than most varieties at the liquor store. It's fun too - only takes an hour to do a batch of 30 bottles. For lovers of full-bodied reds, I recommend the Zin. Duncan is friendly and helpful.
