I have worked with Karnik before and he has never let me down! This time was no exception - He had his technician on site within 24 hours when I know they and every other air conditioner repair person was booked solid! What a scam! They sold me a furnace + AC a few years ago and convinced me to get an extended warranty. I did for peace of mind. When my A/C broke down (during the warranty period) the main point of contact (Carnick) didn’t answer any of my calls. He wrote back via text saying he couldn’t help. He tried to use the Covid pandemic as an excuse (meanwhile every other HVAC company on the planet is working and recognizes providing heat and cool air as essential).My warranty was labour + parts (clearly documented) but because he refused to make the service call (or arrange for anyone else to come) I had to get another company and pay out of pocket. He even refused (again via text) to cover the charges of any other tech.Other customers of his, that I know personally, had similar spats with him. He’s very unprofessional, can’t be trusted, and way overpriced. His main technician left him a while ago because of these deceptive tactics.Save yourselves the frustration + money….go with someone else!

Maxaire recently fixed some ducts in our basement and installed a new Furnace. The team was very quick to respond with any of our requests and the quality was top notch. We would recommend Karnik and his team to friends and family, which we already have done so.

Karnik was extremely fast in responding and finding us a plumber for our shower issue. Luke arrived quickly, assessed the situation and solved the problem in a matter of a few hours - he also went above and beyond to think outside the box and save us from having to re-tile our shower!! We're grateful for the speed, professionalism and quick thinking that came with their service. I feel great knowing I have an HVAC / AC / plumbing team to call if something goes wrong in the future! Will be recommending them to everyone.

Great Job, Great TeamWe reached out to Karnik in early June/18 for a quote for a new A/C unit and found him extremely professional and very responsive to our questions. We decided to go with Maxaire based on their competitive quote and professionalism. When it came time to do the A/C installation, we had a minor glitch when we decided the York A/C unit we had selected was too big and would impact our ability to move small yard equipment past the Air conditioner at the side of our house. Ben (Maxaire's Installation Expert) recommended we switch to a Goodman unit which he also had a lot of experience with and a week later Ben was back to install the Goodman unit. Ben did a 1st rate installation and pointed out all the issues we had encountered with our previous A/C unit. Ben's installation expertise was consistent with what we had found out in our research efforts about how important the Installer is in making sure your new A/C unit will perform properly.In the end, great job done by a great team. I would highly recommend Karnik and Ben for your Air Conditioning needs.

This honest, hard working team did a great job on my very tricky project. I needed a new furnace and water heater installed in a very small space with lots of complicating factors. These guys handled it and were a real pleasure to work with too.

Reliable and friendly service. Quick and painless. Very knowledgeable team of people. I will use these guys as long as they stay in the business. They came to my aid when my furnace broke down in minus 40 degree weather. I had a referral HVAC tech come and tell me it was the circuit board that was the problem. He unplugged it and left me and my pregnant wife in the cold house hanging.So i searched all over Google for a HVAC tech to help me during this freezing cold weather and lucky for me Maxaire responded. Karnik, sales manager, stated it would be in my best interest have an inspection done to be sure what the problem was. Karnik was right. The circuit board wasn't the problem. It was the gas valve. His tech managed to save the circuit board and changed gas valve and had the furnace up and running as a temporary solution.He gave me options for replacing the furnace and waited till I was ready to do so. His tech is very knowledgeable and had the furnace replacement done in a few hours. To ensure quality service was provided, Karnik himself came to check up on the work that was done.As long as Maxaire is around, I will always be using his company and reaching out to him in the future.

I almost never leave a review as I don’t think people will care what I think. However, I needed to thank Karnik for the help and amazing support. My furnace was not working well on a very cold day. That’s my fault because the furnace was 18 years old. He talked about options over the phone, drove to my house to review, gave me great options for different furnaces and there was zero pressure. I could have gone with 4 other companies. He gave me 4 small heaters for the evening to make sure we didn’t freeze, came next day and it has been working well for 30 days. Thank you so much!

Have used Maxaire a few times now, and their work is exceptional. You can tell their techs are experienced and very knowledgeable. The AC went out in the dead of summer at my parents house, and they fixed it within hours. Most recently had an issue with my furnace which was fixed quickly. They really are impressive, I don't usually leave online reviews but these guys deserve all the praise they get on here. Highly recommend calling them for anything HVAC related.
