Cinéma Starcité Montréal

The movies shown are always so dim (like really dim - it used to be only 3-D were dim, but...) some of the screens are rippled, the place is often dirty, the food is terrible . Why everyone wonders why less people go to the movies anymore. Why settle for a (generally) subpar and disappointing experience when you can get a better film experience in your own living room.

I went alone to see it out of curiosity, it has a very good structure, but I noticed that it lacks a lot of cleaning and maintenance.

Surprised it had English showings. Growing up this theatre was exclusively francophone. The arcade and food is better than it used to be as well. Overall a nice experience even just for a Sunday afternoon summer movie.

I went to Starcité with my fiancé today and I was severely disappointed. The way this place treats it’s client and their employees is deplorable! There was no AC in the main entrance. They didn’t even have fans for the employees. For a company like Cineplex, I can’t believe they treat their staff so poorly. Many of the rooms don’t even have functional AC. Shame on you Cineplex Starcité!!! Shame!!!!

Clean, not too crowded, easy access via metro. My only complain...I should be able to have plain popcorn. I was told by default butter and salt are added...I dont want greasy fingers and I don't add excessive amount of salt in my snack....Healthy food option would be appreciated; it was all junkfood. I will make sure to sneak in my own snack next time. 2 hours+ movie with no snack...I was starving

Tickets parking before 2019 $5 now 2023 15$ up 20$ not much people going cinemas now

Dress like you're going to the beach, it's really hot in here, especially next to the window while playing air hockey. Lots of cool games and you get tickets for winning, then you can buy little prizes, we spent like a good half hour there.

This theater was great before covid. Since their good staff is gone and management is almost never there, employees do whatever they want, don’t even bother giving a good service. They even give you attitude. Lines in front of cashiers are a mess, people can easily start another line where there shouldn’t be one and the cashiers don’t bother telling those to go back to the right lane.Don’t buy the hot dot with nachos combo. You’ll get a coupon and send you to wait for it at another food court and if you’re lucky someone will have the descency to look up and see you are there waiting for a hot dog, otherwise they’ll just serve those who buy their food and let you wait and wait and wait until you make hand signs which you are not supposed to.If you really have to go there because it’s the closest one, go during the day on week ends but avoid friday and saturday nights. People will sit on your seat and no matter who you complaint too, by the time you get someone to help you with something, you’ve lost 30 minutes of your movie and ruined your movie night. So, if you wanna go watch a movie in peace and have a good experience, trust me, avoid this theater on a friday or saturday night.

I love this place it has cool arcade machines they just started putting spanish movies which is cool and they have great hot dogs
