On the Forest Boarding
We recently moved to Canada and my wife was looking for a place to continue her riding passion. We visited some stables and, though all were good, the second we entered the OTFB barn we knew; THIS IS THE PLACE. The owners, Margot, Sarah and Evelyn, were so welcoming and the people riding there equally so. My wife felt right at home and started riding the same week. Never looked back!

I've had the best experience getting back into riding. OFB s a relaxed and supportive riding stable. I've had the opportunity to ride different horses, work diffrent styles and to learn from an amazing coach Margo. I look forward to my ride and lesson every week. The trails in the forest are peaceful and I'm so happy to be able to both riding and lessons in the area and in the forest.

I love this stable and have had only good experiences there! These people are devoted to the care, health and happiness of all the horses entrusted to them! Margot and Ev are super helpful and go out of their way to help you enjoy any time spent at their farm. This is a super well run facility with a great group of people and I’d recommend it to anyone. Friendly and fun!

I contacted Evie at On the Forest Boarding regarding using one of the horses for an engagement shoot. it was an absolute pleasure working with her from start to finish. Good communication, accommodation, and welcoming energy. Bandit was the name of the horse we used and we already miss him. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing barn! Ev and Margot are friendly and professional and the horses are very well taken care of. The barn community has a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere no matter what riding discipline you are interested in. Lots of fun opportunities like group jumping and dressage nights, off property schooling and epic trail rides through the forest. I've really enjoyed my time here!

Great experience, Evelyn is so sweet and was so helpful. We shot a summer look book of our clothing at the farm. They had beautiful ponds, and land to roam. The horses are beautiful and very sweet. Would be really fun to come back for trail rides! XO

Coming from someone who doesn't ride but just loves spending time around horses, On the Forest Boarding is the place to be! Everyone is very welcoming and the horses are like no other farm! The level of care Margot and Ev give these horses is incredible! Job well done ladies!!

I am 61 years old and haven't ridden since my 20s. Over the summer I started taking lessons here with Margo. I happily recommend On the Forest, a great place to ride, awesome people, well trained horses. Margo is a fabulous teacher and a super nice person! My lessons at On the Forest have changed my perspective, not just relating to horses, but how I see myself.

This place is absolutely the best place to ride!! Great atmosphere, friendly people. The trails are just amazing!!. A Variety of great horses that can be matched up to your riding level. If you want to take lessons they do western and english. I always have a great experience at this place and would 100 % recommend to anyone who wants to go horseback riding :)

Amazing place with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and good acknowledgement to the needs of safety around horses. Wonderful place for a trail ride; beautiful trails, wonderful horses that are well fit to experience level. I definitely recommend this place for those looking for a good trail ride experience from beginner to advance.Edit 2022: as a boarder here for 3 years I have been extremely happy with the service, atmosphere and care of the horses. My horse has thrived in the calm and nurturing environment Margot fosters.
