Twice I have been here for great social functions that the amazing club volunteers have run. Catering for both my friend's birthday party, and my boss organizing a work party - the club looked after us to a tee. We were given tutorials for how to bowl, and as soon as we got hold of it, they left us to it.. All the while letting us have a few drinks (via getting a liquor license) and even let us set up a BBQ. A wonderful club run by incredibly generous people!

I came here for a work team building event and received a quick lesson and helpful pointers. It was a fun afternoon. They have beautifully kept greens and professional volunteers. It was a nice oasis in the city.

This place is iconic. The white arches are a landmark I notice when driving by. The greens are usually 14 seconds which is great for Canadian grass greens. And this bowls club is great for involving a community of newcomers and non-bowlers to try the sport of lawn bowling whether at a corporate or fundraising event or otherwise.
