Roach's Yellow Cabs

Female dispatchers are rude and cabs take 1hour plus wait times for a taxi. all other dispatchers no issues cab 15 min wait max, for some reason they are allowed to bring their menopause to the work place

I took two different Roach Taxis twice in one day so I got two different drivers and they were both a delight. They were both thoughtful and took the fastest route to my destination. I'd recommend them. Also the wait time for pickup was so short. It was nice that both taxis had the covid screens up as well so that there was a safe divide between driver and passengers. Cabs were also clean.

I dropped my cellphone in the cab as I was getting out. I didn't notice for a few hours. I called the dispatch, right away they found the driver who then confirmed that he had it. He came by and dropped it off within an hour! Great driver! Great service! Thanks for saving the day guys! Greatly appreciated!

Dog started having breathing issues, he's old 15 and we were unable to get a ride from friends or neighbors (work or out). Managed to get an emergency appointment at the Vet and called Roaches 50 minutes before the time of appointment. Everything was explained by my Father and was told the cab would arrive in 15 minutes and sympathized with him about the situation, 20 minutes passed called again the cab will be there right away"

Drivers frequently drive erratic in town. Just now saw a taxi cut off a lady. Was going nearly double the speed limit. Weaving in and out of traffic. Tried to call to report and no one answered every time I called.

One of the best cab services in Thunder Bay. Called them first before anyone else.Lady in reception is a bit too dull and rude. Costumer services is definitely not for her. Other than that, great service.

Worst taxi service. Lady in the morning is so rude. I waited for 20 min after booking and when I called she lied to me that I missed it and hung up on me. I got no msg on my phone and I was looking through the window for taxi, the whole time. I got late from work.She sounds asleep and she didn’t even get my street name right.

I've used this service quite a few times in the last year, the last 2 times I have called for a taxi- this incredibly rude operator answers the phone, this last time (tonight) I called and this woman canceled the cab because I said can you relax?" After she spent 2 minutes screaming at me over the phone. The time prior it was late at night and she claimed she had sent a taxi to the address when she had not and it was clear because there were no tire marks in the snow

Called for a car on behalf of an elderly person with mobility issues to a apartment building and while she waited a very long time, it never came. I called back to make sure a car was coming and the dispatcher had such a terrible and mean attitude despite my calm and understanding tone; she yelled at me the car had been waiting for 10 minutes (it was clearly not there) and when I told her it was not actually at the building she proceeded to yell even more that it indeed was waiting. She hung up after I asked if she could send a car to the correct address as it must have gone to a different building by accident. 10 minutes after the call, the car finally came.

Terrible ride experience, driver couldn't stay in the proper lane, recklessly swerved in and out of lanes, stopped at green lights, we were honked at several times. a very uncomfortable and unnerving ride experience, was my driver sober? was he sick? Driver had the windows rolled down in -12c and wouldn't roll them up, and the radio blasting at 7am and wouldn't turn it down. He didn't offer his name, had no posted credentials, and didn't assist me with luggage as I was traveling to the airport. When I called to file a complaint, dispatch was very kind and apologetic and assured me the boss would follow up the first business day.They followed up the same evening, but i was unable to answer because I was still traveling. Called them the next day and the operator told me the boss (Rick) would be in on Tuesday, called back Tuesday and the operator told me no one by the name Rick worked there...so who called me to follow up???Regardless of the game of chicken I currently find myself in, dispatch is friendly and they are trying to help me, but I doubt this will go anywhere which means this driver will still be on the road putting passengers at risk with no consequence for his reckless actions
