Nice (small) museum, they had an interesting exhibition on a Black Montrealer and the history of Black Quebecers. The director was there and he explained the exhibit and the space to us. They are currently expanding with two more rooms that should open in Feb 2023, I look forward to seeing how they curate the space once they have more to work with. They currently have a fairly substantial amount of permanent African art, for a Museum of their size, but not enough room to really showcase it. Considering they've only been open for one year, it's very exciting! Looking forward to returning and seeing the new space.

Un endroit qui marque! On y vit l'art sous toutes ses formes : musicale, picturale, sculpturale... Il y règne une énergie très agréable. Les masques majestueux qui ornent les murs et la belle âme du fondateur Guy y sont certainement pour quelque chose.

Lieu très récent de la culture afro-canadienne qui vient d'ouvrir ses portes et qui je pense à l'avenir deviendra un lieu de réseautage et échanges culturels pour les interressé de la culture afro-canadienne
