Had a nice early birthday lunch with my family on Saturday and I had to write in to share how great the service was. Bella was our server and she was incredible. She has fantastic customer service skills (including good jokes and friendly refreshing banter), served our table perfectly where it was not too little and not too much, made a recommendation from the menu, made sure we had no issues with our food and brought me a birthday brownie with a sparkler in it. It was my first time going to this particular Jack's location and I will definitely be returning! =)Side note: Two things - I like that there is a great kids menu and I was surprised that the Steak wasn't bad here as it isn't normally a place I would consider ordering steaks from. 10/10 Experience!Small critique: my mother said the guacamole changed since the last time we went to Jack's at another location around Spring of last year and that it used to be better so if that could be changed back to the old version that is the only feedback I would share.

I was in yesterday for dinner with my partner and Daniella was our server. She was quick to greet us at our table and recommended some really nice drinks that both me and my partner really enjoyed. Her service was one of, if not the best I've ever had. She was personable, honest, and funny. She took her time to explain her personal favorites on the menu, as well as items she's noticed people seem to order often and really enjoy. I will definitely come back and request Daniella when I do.

We were 5 adults and we had a reservation at 8:15pm on a Friday evening. We reached there at 8:10pm and we were offered a table right away.All the drinks and food were good. Atmosphere and vibe were inviting.Half of the group was non vegetarian and other half was vegetarian.We ordered the following drinks:- Fuzzy Mango Breeze (fishbowl)- Pink Bubble Bowl (fishbowl)- Mango Palmer- Classic Margarita- The Zombie- Lager ShotsIn vegetarian, we ordered Jacked Up Veggie Nachos and Thick-cut Bruschetta. Nachos were tasty, but Bruschetta were quite sour.In non vegetarian, we ordered 1LB of Chicken Wings and some other dishes that I don't remember.I was not happy with the service as it was very slow.

Came for dinner a little bit after the dinner rush to it wasn't too crowded. The bar area had more of a crowd than the dining area. Music wasn't too loud as you can still have a normal conversation at the table with your friends.Wait staff was friendly and quickly took our drink and food order. Drinks came quickly as did our food soon after. I had the Chicken Parmesan which was very good.

The food was good . The nachos was very good . The flavours were good . The jalapeno was good and green onions . The food portions were good . My family loved it . It was New Years so we all go free champagne that was really nice. I just wish the countdown was shown on tv .

Had a random dinner out tonight! Juliana/Jules was amazing. She was on top of everything. Drinks needed? Gotten! Food being eaten? Came to make sure everything was just how we wanted it! Dishes empty? Taken away basically immediately!! She was awesome and the whole experience was amazing. would definitely recommend this location.

Came out cold , took a long time to get it back. Not great taste. Didn't indicate extra charges for tofu, and fries. Not good value.

I have been going to Jack Astor's from I was a child. It was really good back in the day at one of the orignal locations (i.e., Scarborough Town Centre location).Over the years attending this establishment, the quality has changed and not for the better. But I understamd that not everytime a restaurant will produce the greatest dish and with chef and menu changes it can be difficult.But I will say for the first time in a long time I really enjoyed my order. I had the nachos with beef and let me tell you, it was seasoned well and just delicious. Some might think it is a little salty but it was just right for me. I also had a goat cheese and chicken wrap which was nice.With more visits and consistency, my ratings will surely go up.

Just had a great Friday night here with an amazing DJ spinning some hype tracks. Entertainment fit for everyone, and they were so gracious to change the channel to the Raptors game that was on. The highlight was my server, Courtney. She took care of me the whole night. After a long days work, this is exactly the escape I needed! I will be back and if your reading this review you should check them out too!

Update: visited same location in December only to find out the plant based menu is gone & it’s difficult to navigate vegan options. Disappointing.-Upon entering the restaurant, hostess’ were inviting and very friendly. Waitress was personable, quick and very helpful with the Rewards App!We ordered the guacamole to start (highly recommend btw) . Mother in law ordered 2 lbs of honey garlic wings and LOVED them.. my husband ordered the chipotle bacon cheddar burger with fries (he mentioned it was quite tasty) and myself, the Thai sesame stir fry bowl - exceptional!!Thank you so much for adding a plant based menu - much appreciated! Will definitely return :)
