Shamadon Resort

Thank you to the staff at Shamadon for the best week! Everyone was so nice and accommodating! Our “cabin” was gorgeous and fully equipped. They really thought of everything. The entire grounds is so well kept. We did not want to leave! Will absolutely go back 100%

Great resort. We have been coming to for years. Decided to get a seasonal site this year. Love the beach and aqua-slide jumpy, pool, laundry facilities are great but are expensive ($6 per load), kids jumpy pillow and Park. There are horseshoe tournaments and a Pavillion. More events are being scheduled. The dog park is amazing too! Lots of great people!Very nice management too however some have recently left. Unfortunately, there isn't enough urgency in keeping things maintained, ie. Pool was out of commission for an entire week bc someone was away (shouldnhave outsourced). Wifi is VERY poor, wanted to work from the trailer and unable to do so. Can't even watch Netflix!Overall, a great resort and friendly staff, will stay another year.

Large clean sites, grounds are meticulously maintained. A safe fun family oriented Campground, offers loads of fun with a pool, pond kayaks and lots to keep kids and adults entertained. A nice large beach and a great kids playground area. Firewood delivery and daily garbage pick up along with laundry on site are nice perks. A great place for a week or a weekend

We stayed here over the weekend and found this campground to be quite nice. As mentioned in other reviews, firewood is included and restocked each morning, site side garbage pick up at roughly 10am and 7 pm. Lots to do for the kids. The small lake with a beach is nice. The pool time reservation is the only negative we had, although we were able to get one 45 minute slot on Sunday as they were completely booked Friday and Saturday. Perhaps a limit of one booking per day per family would of let more families enjoy the pool. The dog park is probably one of the best you will find.....they even have their own pool and a little water fountain. The sites are a decent size, and the buddy sites are a cool feature as well. All in all we had a great time and will definitely go back.

Well run family RV Resort, that has everything you would need. Great beach for the kids, the dog park has its own pool, washrooms and showers are super clean. Price is a bit higher, but the service makes up for it. And garbage pick up and firewood are included. Wish we could of stayed longer. We'll be ready to book for next year in January.

The grounds are gorgeous, but to say this park is overpriced for seasonal campers is an understatement. What was advertised as concrete pad with wifi access and grounds keeping was not. We never had any internet access (I need it for work) our trailer was parked on grass, no concrete pad on our site, we mowed our own site and were surrounded by transient sites for 10k per season was preposterous. Yes it includes fire wood and electricity, but that alone is only worth approx $400/season. We would have stayed had the fees been more in line with competitor properties, but they simply aren't. I hope with less competition for seasonal sites with the world opening up more, the prices drop. Families that can afford 10k for 5 months of camping, won't be spending that $ in Ontario given the choice.Management was lovely, and I'm sure they don't set fees.

We really enjoyed our group camping trip. The park is very clean, staff are friendly, excellent amenities (pool, bounce pillow, pond, beach area, inflatables, dog park, playground). Garbage is picked up daily at 10:00am and 6:00pm and firewood is supplied. A great family getaway - highly recommend.

Very nice park, lots of things to do for kids; swimming pool, small beach area, jumping pillow, play park. Loved the dog park. Friendly staff, easy check in. Just found the nightly rate to be a bit high. There are many other parks that offers the same, but for much lower cost.

Very nice RV resort with lots of amenities. Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for so....

Lots of things to do for kids. Inflatable water feature lots of fun to climb on
