They are the people who apply the standards of law that promote the french language here in Quebec. Among all the bad reviews, and despite the fact that they are strict with the local anglophones, they do a tough job that deserves to be recognized. It's not easy to keep a minority language on a continent where it is predominantly English!Even though I fully encourage diversity, I am also glad that they fight to keep their heritage. After all, that is what makes Quebec somewhat unique!

Bill 101 damaged the economy. Bill 104 was made to alter and damage families and their goals when coming to the West and the OQLF takes 35 million dollars annually from our taxes so a bunch of high school drop outs that we call Language Police" (look up their backgrounds

The news reports that during COVID-19, the OQLF temporarily suspended french requirements. the reality is that this is just publicity. As a healthcare professional i was happy to hear this, never had an issue learning the language, in fact as much as i wanted to learn french while doing my health care programs masters I was simply to busy doing non stop studying. But OQLF only suspended the requirement for certain people, AND only for about 2 weeks until they began french tests again. I know French is important but to 1) during a pandemic to choose #LanguageOverLives is just karma cuz we could have helped saved lives, 2) during my 2 years as an anglo I got along just fine in your system. But to demand ppl speak french instead of allowing them to help save lives is without a doubt dispicable, and to offer no assistance to Canadian Born health care workers. Ok fine, but don't ever complain about not having enough workers Quebec because you're not doing enough to keep even your own Canadians here to help.

I wish i could give zero starWorst experience of my life! They do not even have a explanation for their grading system and is so vague. Their examiners do not seem to be enough trained! Where in the world have you seen new laws being imposed on everybody, and not just the people who register after the law has changed. They changed their rule, so now even though i passed my 3 levels of french, with the new rule those are not counted and i am being forced to do whole french exam over again! I hope i could sue them

Because of them, foreign companies, anglo startups and newly immigrated entrepreneurs do not have access to CNESST documents in english. Thanks for promoting healthy work habits and helping prevent work accidents ONLY in french!""

How about you apply the LAW 101 to yourself and change the name of your organization to Bureau Quebecois de la langue francaise"?Double standard and hypocrisy to a new top level. What a Useless organization this is."

Been in Quebec for 50 years...They like to keep the farmers farming.....if they become multi lingual, they might leave...Keep them with the French language only and they stay....no choice.Dans l’ouest de l’île, on parle principalement d’anglias, mais tous les anglophones peuvent parler français, ce qui est certainement un avantage. We already have too many Gov. jobs that are needless. The money could go to so many better places.

What a joke, I called about my daughter's French teacher not being able to speak the language and miss teaching all of her students and they don't care! But make sure you're advertising and labels are facing French side forward or else. Why is society talking about the defunding the police when organizations like this exist bleeding money from us? Furthermore most of the employees don't even speak or comprehend English. I am Canadian that I speak both languages, shouldn't the language police?Like I said coma this organization is a terrible joke from the government and should be shut down

As a language school, they are hopeless and useless. This is a branch of government designed to harass non french businesses. Government passed a law that advertising must be in french. They got courts to proclaim it should also apply to websites. So I made my website in french. Still got fined $3,750 ! Why? Because I used google translate to do it and they claimed that was not diligently" following the law. Beyond all reasonable doubt no less. So it not only must be in french
