JKL Trail Rides and Petting Zoo

Had an amazing time on the five hour horseback ride! Scott did a wonderful job guiding and showing us some breathtaking views and waterfalls. We stopped for lunch and had a good break in between, highly recommend!!

We had a great experience with a group of 10 people. Booked in for a 1 hour trail ride and it didn't disappoint. The staff were great when it came to getting us all organized and on the horses. Even with the young ones that were first timers. Our guide in the back seemed pretty grumpy and not overly talkative or friendly but maybe just having a bad day. But if that's the worst than so be it. Will definitely be back again

Love love love everyone at Heritage Ranch and Wilderness village . Both places have a wonderful experience. You can bring you kids to both places for wonderful pony rides. Both locations are gorgeous, with experienced friendly horsemen/horsewomen , wonderful horses for trail rides. The wilderness has a free petting zoo with friendly interesting array of animals. Wilderness you can bring a picnic and enjoy the outside. Camp right on the grounds. Heritage ranch has a beautiful location with a restaurant with delicious food to enjoy after/before your guided trail ride . Worth a trip to both locations for sure, highly recommend . Thank you to everyone at both places for giving me something to look forward to.

Great friendly staff, patient horses and delicious food

Took my 73 year old mom from Nova Scotia who hasn’t ridden in alot of years. My 17 year old daughter who has never ridden, for a trail ride here. I was so nervous for the two of them. The horses are so well behaved, and the trail was awesome. Great place to go. I will be going back for sure.

We came in from out of town, they accommodated us very well and got the kids on a trail ride very quick and easy. The animals are very well cared for and the staff super helpful.

Incredible day at Wildhorse Flats. Beautiful scenery, fabulous guide and lovely horses. 100% recommend
