Perhaps the best sourdough on the Sunshine Coast, and certainly in Powell River. Their pain au chocolate are so delicious, their bread is reasonably priced and high quality, and the ladies behind the counter are kind and passionate.

Simply, amazing. The bread and baked goods are second to none. The breads, salted chocolate, lemon tarts were exceptional. So much so we went back the next morning for more. If Hearth and Grain were located in any other urban area they would be sold out within minutes. Please support the wholesome and quality from Hearth and Grains.

AMAZING Sourdough breads. Do try the Asiago & Black Pepper or the Cranberry Pecan. Pick up a Double baked Almond Croissant or a Pecan Tart for dessert. Ginger Beer on tap.

TO DIE FOR. You won’t be disappointed whatever you choose. I had the almond croissant and cookies and can honestly say the croissant is the best I’ve had in my life irrespective of continent. Will be back.

Delicious sourdough bread! We got the caramelized onion and walnut. It was so tasty we ate it all with our soup! They have a great selection for bakery goods! And the staff ladies are so sweet!

We stopped here on our way through Powell River, and we're so glad we did. Best sourdough I've had in a while! The breads here are clearly made with a lot of love. Highly recommend.
