Amazing store!!! They helped me find the right fabric and also embroider a smiley face to help repair an organic lovey for my kid. I was at my wits end figuring out how to repair the beloved toy, and finally figured it out thanks to this shop. Also impressive that they combine an heritage skill (quilting) with modern tech (online shopping, modern sewing / quilting machines etc). Very neat

I am so impressed with this store! I placed an order on Friday, February 17 and it was in the mail to me that same day. I received the order on Monday, February 20. The fabric is beautiful and the service is beyond excellent. The Quilt Store has a new customer. What more can I say?

I am new to quilting and have started making my first small quilt. With Covid restrictions and the store having only curbside pick up right now I have had to rely on recommendations of the staff. The staff have been extremely helpful and have gone over and above my expectations. Their guidance has been invaluable. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to be able to shop in-store.

Warning: They hate you at the Quilt store, especially if you ask a question. I notice they try very hard to manage their google reviews, but the low stars are always about the same thing, customer experience, and it is bad. We all know there aren't that many sewing stores around, and finding a great repair technician is scarce, but it's not worth the hostile treatment from the guy at The Quilt store. I would not have been more shocked at the way he addressed my question to him about the repair of my machine than if he had just slapped me across the face. ( Even though it was purchased at that store, and it was not cheap) A staff member was right there watching, and then there was a scramble to do damage control by calling in the owner, and he was JUST AS BAD. There is clearly some underlying tension that is ongoing between the staff and owners. I hope they sort it out. I won't be back to find out. I am not interested in being patronized.If you are an experienced sewer, and if collaborating with other sewing enthusiasts is something you love to do, I warn you that the Quilt Store is not a happy place. Its better to drive for miles to somewhere, anywhere, else.

I recently moved to Newmarket and I’m very happy to have access to such a great quilting store in the community. The staff have been friendly and helpful when I’ve needed assistance with my purchases. Anne-Marie recently long-arm quilted a Christmas quilt for me, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out. The pricing was competitive and the turn around time was impressive. I haven’t needed to purchase any fabric since moving, but the fabric selection appears to be very thoughtfully curated.

I am a brand new customer to The Quilt Store. I have heard great things from the sewing community and thought I would place an order online. I accidentally added two of the same products and as a part of my order. I received a call from a wonderful women who called to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. I am so pleased with the service I received. They were also able to add an item to my order. The Quilt Store exceeded my expectations and went out of their way to support my shopping experience. I placed the order on Monday and received it Tuesday morning. This store is an absolute treasure. I will definitely be visiting for all of my quilting needs.
