Evelina was recommended by Miss Joan at our music classes at the YmCA. She works so well with my daughter Madelyn! She is so accommodating and picks up my daughter after school as her location is DIRECTLY across the street!! Talk about a win win!!!

I have always wanted to play Piano. I am a singer-songwriter and teach Vocal Music, Community Music, and Musical Theatre. I play guitar and tinker on the ivories for warm-up drills for vocals lessons ONLY. It's a skill I did not have but longed to possess. As a music teacher, it's been rather unfortunate to not know how to play. Yet, I've managed to sneak by without it for over 20 years. However, the longing to play has always been paramount.At 56 years young ... I began taking lessons with Evelina in March 2022. I only wanted to learn ONE song ... the Entertainer from the movie The Sting. I caught on to that song and piano quite well, but I lack a LOT of finesse and timing and many other issues but I accomplished my goal. Then ... I set my sights on Let It Be and Can't Help Falling In Love and many others. I'm not going on tour with Billy Joel anytime soon ...Here I am a year in and yesterday, I sat down at a piano at our local Community Centre and just started playing. No sheet music and just started tinkering off my songs and playing them all. I saw a lady lean up against the wall and just stand there and listen. That's so beautiful
