No more soup but the snack area is now self-serve. Very comfortable seating area as well!!!

Fun fact: a nurse told me they're going to stop measuring blood pressure for whole blood donations at the end of September. If that was a limitation for you, come in on October 1st lol. I highly recommend filling in your questionnaire only before your appointment. They've really been working on streamlining the donation process, and it's paying off! I can finish my plasma donation in an hour when everything goes as expected.

No parking but always good to give blood.THERE IS PARKING but this place does not have enough parking for the amount of people they have showing up. Its the businesses fault for inviting to many people when they dont have the space and there is a massive parking lot. But its not owned by them.So there is no parking except for the employees.

Always love coming here! Everyone of the staff and medical personnel are so kind and caring, offering a comfortable experience donating. They are serious about COVID and have implemented extra precautions! The RNs are especially phenomenal at they do! Been donating for about 4 years now, would recommend.

Had a great first experience donating blood! Ru, Naomi and Nicole were all super knowledgeable!! I’m not a huge fan of needles but they made me feel comfortable and the whole process was quick and easy! Can’t wait to come back again and start donating regularly!

I've donated blood numerous times and have never had such a frustrating and terrible experience as I did yesterday. From start to finish the entire process was chaotic. For whatever reason the electronic system wasn't working for me and no one could seem to figure out why. I came with my partner and expressed my desire for us to donate together, the reason for booking an appointment together. After my screening that took much longer than it should have because the the electronic glitches, I watched my partner donate from the waiting area and once they finished and left I was called over. Not sure why they couldn't bring us together as requested. After being hooked up I requested some water which apparently is a red flag. When asked why I wanted the water (you can't just be thirsty?) I stated I was a bit clammy and despite saying this is a normal reaction for me, was immediately disconnected from the machine. For whatever reason my arm was wrapped uncomfortably different from everyone else's there and didn't mention anything about after care, like when I could remove the bandage, and there was ALOT of blood on the bandage, far more than my partner's. From my experience blood donation should be a quick, easy, comfortable experience where you feel respected and valued. Despite being O neg this was such a bad experience I am unlikely to donate again.

I travel by Dats and some days when I get in here it is super busy which makes me late for my ride home. Today I am feeling very anxious as I know my ride will be here any minute and I’m only half way through my donation. It took an hour before I started donating. I wish they would take into consideration that I travel by Dats. If I’m not done when they get here then I have no way home.UpdateDone and my Dats been here and left. Now I have nothing way to get home. This is very frustrating for me.

Had a really great experience donating here. All of the staff were very friendly. The lady that did my hemoglobin testing was great! The facility itself was one of the best I've been too. Thank you to the staff for a positive experience!

Absolutely amazing experience at holy trinity church Stony Plain donation today. Kim and penny made the experience so fun and enjoyable hope to see them next time I donate.
