Shelbourne Barbers

I've been coming to this barbershop for maybe 3-4 years now. Every time that I've been inside the service has been impeccable. The wait times are extremely short for how high quality of a cut they offer.I personally get my haircut by Taylor. He's an extremely friendly, personable guy that really pays attention to the details. I would recommend him 10/10.If you want a great, inexpensive cut. This really is the place to go.

I’ve been coming here for years and always been happy with the quality. An old school style barber shop offering very decently priced haircuts in a relaxed setting. All the barbers are friendly if you want to chat and they usually have sports showing on one of several TVs that you can watch from the barbers chairs. It gets busy on Saturdays so you may have to wait.

Shelbourne Barbers is personally my favourite place in Victoria and I’ve been to most of them.It’s a very chill environment and everyone there is very kind.Taylor is my go to barber and I highly recommend checking him out. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been a loyal customer of this business since 2017 but I refuse to continue to do business with them. Multiple times I have witnessed people of colour been discouraged from getting a haircut, by ignoring them when it is there turn for a haircut. Multiple time I have waited for a haircut and heard the barber Taylor say very upsetting things to people, most recently I heard him tell a person to claim they are indigenous on a job application to be hired preferably. The barber Brandon told me my buzzcut was 24 dollars but no one else ever charged me that much, buzzcuts are 17. He said I asked for a 4 on top and a 2 on the sides so this is not a buzzcut but the other barber said it is and she never charged more than 17. Every time I have had my hair cut by the old English woman she has skipped me over other white customers, then treated me like I am in an airport, she didn't used to do this but she does now and I hate it. Arlene is the only good haircutter here but she's only there a few days and everytime I have to wait a long time for her. This is not a place that I will continue to visit.

Great barbers. Always get a good cut and at a reasonable price. Only complaint is that once I got a cut and had to pay more than previous cuts and was not told about it until time to pay. Then I was told that because my hair was longer it would be more. It wasn't that long and this was new to me. He was former military guy. Anyways, guess it was misunderstanding. Can someone please tell me if all the rates are posted?

Been coming here for about 14 years. Prices still affordable. Colin still works here (Sat). Tom must be retired cause his name isn't posted. He is the owner. Hours: M-F 9-530, Sat 9-5, Sun closed.

Fantastic experience.Most thorough haircut I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never had a haircut where I’ve had someone obsess about getting my hair just right.Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.As my understanding is they don’t take appointments, if you’re not in a rush, check it out as it’s got to be one of the best spots to get your haircut. Also, - very reasonable price (24$) for the time, expertise and experience.

The best group of barbers work here. They are all kind, talented, and lovely. The space is laid back and people of all ages will be able to find a barber that suits them here.

First time going there I would say it was worth it I came in not even knowing what I wanted to get just told him to cut the sides leave the top he then proceeded to draw Mona Lisa on my damn head perfect.
