Hardwood, Laminate, Vinyl Flooring - Pickering Giant

While the pricing is good, their customer service has been continuously horrendous. Rude and condescending on the phone. Ignored when in the store. Unhelpful with pick up of product. Will not be returning.

We bought some beautiful engineered wood flooring here. Hamid spent time with us to make sure we got what we wanted and we got a sweet deal. We checked out a few other spots in the area but the prices seemed a lot higher. After we bought it, the delivery hit a snag but Hamid made sure we got it on time and saved the day.

Ali was very helpful and has amazing customer service. Purchased vinyl flooring which was great quality and very easy to install. Would definitely do business again! Great store and great staff.

Hamid is great to work with but the company behind him is a mess. No reply’s from customer service after an install had failed less the 3 months after, tonight on our way to bed my girlfriend cut her foot on a nail head that had started to make its way out of the stair nose. Have emailed customer support 4 times and only get the standard “will reply back in 2 Business days” 2 weeks later no reply.

Awesome staff, very friendly. I dealt mostly with a gentlemen named Ali. He was friendly and helpful through the entire process. The floors look amazing. I would highly recommend Hardwood Giant when doing your home flooring.

After searching around for flooring for our basement, we decided to go with a vinyl product from Hardwood Giant (Pickering) and we are so happy we did! We weren't sure exactly what to get as this was the first floor we have installed ourselves-- Ali was very professional and helpful in assisting us with choosing a product. My entire experience with hardwood Giant was fantastic! They have a great range of products to choose from, the staff (Ali specifically) were very helpful and courteous, the product arrived on time, and exactly the product and quality we requested. Thank you to the Hardwood Giant team. You made our floor installation journey easy! I will be back for our next flooring project and I will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends and family!

Visited this store in search of hardwood to match existing flooring in our house. Salesperson took a quick glance at the photos I brought in and told me they were unable to do anything of the sort. I had further info to give him, such as the plank size and wood type I was looking for, but he brushed me off. I was not looking for anything weird or exotic: red oak in a midtone stain and a standard plank size.I asked him if I could look around their gallery anyway, and he proceeded to ignore me for the rest of my visit. I'm not sure what part of this salesman's behaviour was supposed to inspire me to spend any money in his store. Don't waste your time here.

We are very happy with the flooring we chose. We went with the Obsession Stable Sawn 6” white oak engineered hardwood - turned out beautiful!! Although there were some unforeseen hiccups along the way, Mohammed was willing and able to work with us. We would happily purchase flooring from here again in the future. Thanks for everything.

The contractors were given 5 boxes of wrong flooring out of 13. They were 3rd party contractors and did not know what to do. I called the store and the rep would not acknowledge that they were wrong and kept trying to tell me that they are supposed to look different and they never make mistakes like that. I took a picture of different SKU numbers and told him that and then he finally admitted that the flooring boxes were different. Then he called the warehouse and after dome hours of back and forth between him, warehouse and the contractor he told me that the job can't be done on that day as the warehouse closes in few hours. My furniture were moving in a week and the next available time was way after that week. I told them I need it to be done that day or asap and the only option he came with was if I can get someone to pick up the right floorings. so I went and picked up the floorings and now it has not even been a year and the floorings are shifting. Their service is terrible as soon as they get you to pay and there was major lack of accountability for the blunder they made. I will highly suggest to ind a different place.

Zaheer was a very courteous and exceptinonally helpful salesman. Provided great advice and great product. Silver Stone Laminate purchase is beautiful.
