Absolute sleeper. This place has presence. A small team of hardworking chefs and servers, all innovative in their own ways creates a dining experience like no other.The charcuterie boards are clearly curated with local sourcing; they have this homemade compote and mustard that blows the mind from inside out.Mains are delicious and not overly buttered; there’s something so solid about WineBar. It’s not pretentious, it’s surely not lacking, and punched far above its price point. You’d be injurious not to give it a try.Our server Max was the most wonderful. I’d come back just to be facilitated by him.

The chefs here are high end, and great people. They care, they are creative, hard working and they truly want you to enjoy yourself and have a good time. It shows in the atmosphere which has always helped me feel pleasant and comfortable. Park off Memorial on the river and walk over ! Enjoy the rest of Kensington before or after !

Winebar Kensington is one of my go to spots for date nights with my guy or girls nights with my mom! It offers delicious food that is always fresh and seasonal along with mouthwatering wine. The desserts are to die for! You should definitely go here. :)

I have never been to winebar Kensington before. I parked a bit far from the restaurant and found it interesting to scurry quickly in my stilettos.I was surprised that they are located down a small flight of stairs. It made upon entering more interesting.I was delighted with the cozy rustic vibe. It’s been a while since I indulged in wine. The pairings were perfect with the charcuterie and Napa Valley red.As the server poured a taste sample from the canteen it was quite stunning to watch the red wine make a splash as it hit the bottom of my glass.As I picked my drink up I can smell the richness of the full body wine climb to the top as I swirled it carefully.My tastebuds we’re excited as I opened my mouth and let the wine touch my palette. My boyfriend took me here for our first date, but my love for this place is not purely sentimental. The beef gnocchi is to die for (pictured here). As well as the fondue, assortment plates, and the wine is wonderful. One of my favorite places in Kensington and the city. Great service. Half price bottles of wine on Sunday!

Came here for a dinner with a friend and was pleased to find they were a part of the taste of Kensington event. For a set price we got a 3 course meal, which was surprisingly generously portioned. I had the sauteed mushrooms on toast and my friend chose the truffle fondue - a great pairing if you don't mind snacking off your friends plate.For desert we had Dulce de leche which surprised us by featuring a very tasty carrot gelato as well the smores, which I found to be the better of the two.We both left very satisfied.

We had an amazing wine pairing dinner at the Wine bar. The creative combination of flavours that Phil put together for us was outstanding. The wine pairings complemented the dishes very well. My two favourite items were the morel mushrooms with peas and the delicious broth. There was so much flavour packed in every bite. My friend loved the duck breast entree which was cooked to perfection. It was such a fun night out watching Phil prepare the dishes at the counter. Be sure to request a seat at the bar to watch the team in action!
