I am a long time VW owner (25+ years) and have always had solid experiences at (formerly) Guildford VW and more recently JP VW in Surrey. That’s said, things have really changed. My recent experiences at Jim Pattison VW have been underwhelming at best, frustrating and at worst I just don’t think they care.Maybe it’s a post-pandemic reality? Maybe this is happening everywhere? People are burnt out? Maybe it’s me getting older and having outdated expectations on customer loyalty and the experience I desire at a dealership? Or is it a generation gap between me, a mid 50s professional expecting high quality customer service, and younger service reps? Not sure.Context: My lease just ran out and the interaction with the dealer was abysmal. They didn’t quote me accurate buyout info until I showed up neglecting to mention almost $1500 in lease closure costs! What the heck? No one talked about that. But there was no effort to even persuade me to buy something else. Sad.It felt like they just don’t care about my business! They didn’t even try to keep my business despite being a customer for so long. I guess they are so short of vehicles they don’t care? Not sure.And today I brought my car in for a final service before the warranty runs out and I was told it would take 4 hours. Straight to my face- 4 hours. Fine. Even the general manager confirmed that time. So I arrive 4 hours later (I got dropped off) and was told it will now take 2.5 more hours. What the heck? I don’t want excuses, just hard work and accountability. Keep your word. Care about your customers.Nope. This was the last VW I’ll ever buy. There must be another dealer with better service than this. And considering I’ll likely buy 3-5 more cars in my life, you’d think that would matter….

I am not brand loyal to very many things, but I am to VW and that is entirely due to the service department at Jim Pattison VW in Surrey. Yogesh, Moe and the team are just top notch, super-honest people, and to me service is the most important part of the car ownership experience. It's a pleasure to bring my car in for service there, which I've never been able to say about any other dealer in my considerable experience. I will almost certainly buy another VW because of these guys.

All my questions were explained with patience, the car itself was well inspected, fixed up and things were communicated upfront. Went to Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey On Wednesday – April 12 having some questions on our 2 yr old Tiguan. And with few a minutes of standing at the counter waiting for my turn, Yogesh came out from his office and approached me. He signed me in. What’s truly amazing is the way Yogesh passionately explained the situation with our 2yr old Tiguan. He offered to replace the Battery and provided necessary system checkup to ensure that similar concern will not happen again. This kind of service is exceptional, and has brought us peace of mind.Yogesh is a true service-oriented manager. He was very polite and courteous when helping me to understand the situation. I was able to get the service and explanation that I needed. Yogesh has taken care of me very well could not ask for a better person to deal with. He even did a follow-up call after couple of days to make sure everything is doing well. I will return by end of the month to fix minor follow up detailing.Mr. Yogesh Prasad is the manager of Parts and Service. Certainly,I can conclude his team’s performance is likewise similar. I write this review after a year of owning my first VW. The buying experience was seamless and the sales rep was very professional. They included a year of free of maintenance. The oil changes were done on the SUV and the service department was great. It has been a wonderful experience so far and I recommend them 100%!!

Was in here awhile ago getting parts for my Golf. The parts counter guy that helped me was awesome. He was able to get me every bolt and nut for the job I was doing and got them all right on a 23 year old car. Will be coming back for more parts, thank you.

I've had some bad luck this year with my car after someone drove into me. After having multiple unsuccessful help attempts from another VW dealer, I called Yogesh and he was able to fit me in immediately and help with my problem. He was kind and understanding and listened. He really saved my morning and I am so thankful he was able to fit me in and get me on my way. I'll gladly drive out to Surrey again for this level of customer service and won't be heading to my local VW dealer.Thank you again Yogesh!

I own a 2019 Volkswagen Golf and have had issues with the transmission, again I cannot say enough about the service department in Surrey. Yogesh the Service manage took time out of his busy schedule to come for a test drive with me and of course transmission banged hard into gear. He assured me not to worry his team was on it and they arranged a service car for me, to my surprise he called me and because there were problems inside they are replacing my transmission with a new one. Home run Yogesh and again I thank you for being who you are. My only complaint and it was not the fault of Service, I had to drive back the following day from Chilliwack to exchange my service vehicle so I lost on time and gas but all in all I am truly happy with the service.
