Turtle Island Massage Therapy

I’ve always been a bit anxious when it comes to massage, having had a few off putting experiences previously. But the moment I walked into Turtle Island I was greeted by the lovely owner Julie, who put all my anxieties at ease and walked me through the experience with a gentle but skilled hand. She has such a calming way about her, knowing when to keep the conversation going and when to taper off, she had the perfect pressure and has made a massage convert out of me. I will now be making sure I carve time out to visit at least once a month! Thank you Julie! This was the perfect “welcome” to massage! ;)

Love a local place I can walk to and a few massage therapists I can try. I've settled in with Daryl. She is fun to spend time with, very knowledgeable about the body, and gives a great massage!!

Julie was a pro. I had some stress induced knots that would not go away. She was able to get them out and even ones that were hiding under the bigger ones. I feel much better. Also sure liked that I was able to get in on short notice.Thank you.

Have been a couple times now and will definitely continue. Julie has been especially great.

I had my first massage with Lani yesterday and I can't believe the difference she made! I went in with neck pain and a week long headache, she worked muscles I didn't even know I had around my rotator cuffs, and I left a little tender but feeling better than I have in months.The room was very relaxing, the music was soothing, and Lani was professional and informative! I'm quite new to massage therapy, so she explained what she was doing when working on certain areas and gave me some helpful tips on how to combat muscle tension. In the middle of my massage, I had to stop to tell her it was the best massage I have ever had, and I can not wait to go back!

I have loved every experience I had at Turtle Island Massage Therapy! Lani is my RMT and she’s fantastic at what she does. She listens to everything that’s going on with me and is very intuitive in her treatment. I will keep going back as much as I can!
