Terrenceville Hiking Trail

Really nice hiking trail in Terrenceville on the meadow. Known as Bottom of the Bay walking trail. Easy walk. About 2 km return. If you want you can walk further to almost the other side of the meadow where you can watch the tide go in and out, as well you can do some echoing. Great bird watching, you can pick berries in season, go walk on beach, look for driftwood and seaglass, go kayaking in the barasway, and/or just sit and have a picnic. The beach has a lot of commercial marine debris on the windy side and the community makes every effort to keep it clean with an annual beach clean, but it is a challenge. Also, the barasway area next to the trail is a great kayaking area.

This is a very scenic & easy Walking Trail for everyone to enjoy!Breathtaking views of the Barasway to the right side and the Bay to the left!Enjoy a nice picnic or a game of tic tac toe in the lovely Gazebo at the half way point or just sit and take in the view on a bench waiting for you at the end! There is a beautiful swing overlooking the hills and waters edge to take in all this picturesque community has to offer!The Barasway is a kayakers paradise! Enjoy the quietness on the water and listen to the many species of birds and some bald eagles too! You won’t be disappointed for visiting the Bottom of the Bay!
