George has had a wonderful experience with Brian. George is usually withdrawn, but Brian brings him to life. Brian is really patient, and incredibly supportive. He starts new music regularly and keeps George interested. George's skills have improved amazingly over the 3 months that Brian has been working with him. I recommend Brian, highly, to anyone who wishes to learn to play the guitar. Thank you so much, Brian

I just started playing guitar a little over a year ago with Brian’s help and cannot believe the progress I have made. Brian is an excellent teacher. He is not only a great guitarist but has an incredible amount of technical knowledge as well. Brian makes learning to play the guitar lots of fun and I can’t wait to attend each week’s session. I definitely can’t thank him enough.

Where to start?Without even factoring in the Guitar aspect of things; Brian's Studio is an incredibly positive space where you can talk about a shared passion, work through obstacles and seek input on new musical concepts. Regardless of the quality of my questions, I know the answers will be of the highest quality.When it comes to the Guitar, I have been watching him play for more than a year and I am still impressed week in and week out at his ability to tackle any type of music I have thrown at him, do it on an acoustic and then stop to explain the theory behind everything that's happening. I always feel like each lesson is tailored for me and there was thought put into the content so it lines up with my goals.My official review is six out of five stars here because when I think I have fully understood something, Brian usually shows me there is one more thing I hadn't yet considered.

I began lessons with Brian back in September 2021 not knowing much about playing guitar. I find Brian very knowledgeable and a great instructor. He is very patient when teaching. Teaches any genre of music!I would recommend his studio to everyone!

I have been taking Guitar lessons with Brian for months and my wife is also taking Mandolin lessons. Brian is extremely good at what he does, very easy to get along with and we are leaning at a great pace. He has a vast knowledge of all music, across all genres. Brian has been teaching my son to play guitar for almost three years. Brian is an excellent teacher; he customizes lessons to students' interests, and he makes lessons fun. He's involved in the community and gives back to local youth centers. Brian provides private, 30 minute lessons once a week, and when I listen to my son play, I am amazed at how much he has learned since starting lessons with Brian. In the words of my son - Brian rocks". I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to introduce their child to guitar or improve on existing talent."

I decided to learn guitar in my 50's and started with watching youtube videos. Taking the next step by going to Brian for lessons has been a great decision for me. Brian is knowledgeable, patient, easy-going and encouraging, as well as a hell of a guitar player !!! He has given me the confidence to try songs I had previously thought were beyond my skill level. While I still consider myself a beginner, thanks to Brian, I have a much better understanding of music and the guitar than I had when I started 3 months ago, and I plan to keep up the lessons and learning. Thanks Brian, for trying to teach an old dog some new tricks !!!

After picking up some tips on line and learning a few guitar chords, I realized that I needed some lessons, a little structure.A friend recommended Brian Baker. After a few months of weekly lessons, I can truthfully say this was the best decision I’ve made in awhile. Brian is a talented musician/teacher. He has given me confidence and is teaching me stuff I wouldn’t even think to find online. He has a confident and calm approach and makes each session fun.I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

I’ve played guitar for many years and on a recommendation started guitar lessons with Brian. It has been almost two years and I’ve enjoyed immensely each lesson. Brian is an excellent teacher, very, very knowledgeable, patient and helps you develop further your style and playing. Whatever the instrument, he begins at your level, helps you improve and patiently and encouragingly shows you how to be a better player, to challenge yourself and especially have fun! Highly recommended!
