After the brutal hail last June, we wound up replacing our roof, eaves, and upgrading to hardie board siding. The hardie board trim, due to material shortages, could not come in our preferred colour, so we had to hire a painter.We hired Student Works to paint our home. Faith (manager) impressed us beyond belief. We have hired many trades over the years, and none brought the same level of professionalism and expertise to our home as Faith and her crew did.They arrived on time, walked us through what to expect (and when), and then promptly got to work. No mucking about. No drama. No here today

Happy with Student Works Painting! I was impressed with the thorough work on my fence. They primed the entirety of the fence prior to adding 2 layers of paint, by had, not spray. Very nice work. The 3 students that showed up finished it in one day, and they were friendly, respectful and tidy. I'd definitely use he company again for future painting needs.

Update Apr 4, 2023I would strongly suggest that when you seek professional opinion as to what you should do based on your project, that you ask an expert. I sadly went with the recommendation provided and even though they came back to repaint the following summer, its all peeled off again. My deck looks horrible and I am just so upset to have paid almost $2000.00 having them paint it. I should have went with Stain like my husband said, but was advised that the paint used is a stain, weatherproof and much less expensive, so I took that route. Wishing I never did until this day. We have to sand and stain the entire deck this summer as its horrendous to look at. I advised them as they came to my door to sell yet again to me, but I am sure that response went no where.Update Apr 25,2022 - Sadly our deck is peeling yet again after being painted twice. I do wish that I was better advised as to what we should have used for an older deck aside from paint. I feel this was such a waste of money, and now we have to paint it yet again. Every year.2021 - We have an older deck that wasnt initially stained, and was looking very dull. We had it painted summer of 2019. It looked great. 2020 Summer it was allready peeling with not much use. I called Student works Faith Nottveit who oversaw the project and expressed my concern over the peeling so fast. Faith honoured the work by coming back to our home after full days of school to repaint my deck with a double coat in Hope's to last longer. Not to mention, she arrived alone without her crew to provide that customer satisfaction. I was so impressed, especially when these days customer service is minimal. I will be hiring student works next Summer to paint our fence. Thank you Faith!

Hailey was responsive when I initially reached out and was able to come out and paint within a week. She and her employee arrived on time (except without a paint brush or drop sheets which were eventually brought over) and took about a day to paint a small bedroom and a den (about 200 sq ft total) for around $750. I did a walk through and apart from small bits of dried paint left in the two rooms as well as the living space where they stored their supplies (as well as paint all over my step stool and vacuum handle), the paint job seemed good. However as I vacuumed the rooms to remove the paint bits, I felt a couple of 'crunchy' spots on the carpet that weren't there previously. When I tried to contact Hailey to inquire if she was aware of any paint spills on the carpet, she did not reply to my messages. I would only recommend Student Works Painting if you're looking for quick turnaround and not concerned about getting paint on your floors and household items.

I have worked with Student Works for over 5 years now. I would say it has truly been an experience that completely changed the direction of my life and what I can expect of myself. The program you are put through is incredibly thorough and supportive, and the knowledge the company has not only in painting but coaching students to run their first business venture is second to none. I have had friends in other painting companies have a very poor experiences which is incredibly unfortunate due to the tremendous opportunity Student Works has provided me. I was able to graduate debt free, and buy my first home by the age of 22!! Now this was not done through a base amount of work, it was by far the most work I have ever had to do with long hours and dedication, but if you truly put your effort into this program you are able to accomplish amazing things. As a franchise owner, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is student-aged who wants to really push themselves to grow and learn SO MANY KEY life skills to apply for this position and put everything you can into it - you will not regret it. I would love to see as many people as possible go through this program and take away everything that I have been able to over the past 5 years.

Riley Sorenson and his team is not only professional, and clean, the team did an amazing job on my office and master bedroom and bathroom. Riley made sure he was in contact with me every step of the way. His team was very courteous of my belongings and I did not have any paint drips on the floors, walls, or furniture. Once the job was done, the clean up job was immaculate. I would highly recommend Riley and his team.

I just had my deck pergola and stairs painted this week (stained). From the first call to Student Works, Riley was very professional and accommodated my tight schedule. The quote was accurate and pricing was competitive. They did a great job cleaning and painting. The paint job was clean and didn't cause any mess. Overall, Riley was great to work with and I would definitely hire him and this company again!
