The University Bookstore

For such a small store it seems poorly organized. Want a pen? Well there are nearly a half dozen different shelves with pens on them. Good luck. Ask for help if you're having trouble because stationery doesn't seem to be where it should be.Good selection of clothing that's easy to navigate. Lots of stuff for individual colleges and departments. Textbooks are downstairs and prices are reasonable (not great) though they are well organized.

First time being back on campus since the pandemic and it was great to see how many processes were in place and how organized the bookstore was. I originally would have had to come to campus twice for 2 pickups but Tomas was awesome and was able to find both my orders so I didn't have to! Thanks for a great experience!

I emailed them to request a refund for a gift card I had bought for someone before covid but unfortunately was never able to give it to them due to the lockdown. Had to follow up couple times and when I finally heard back they said they gift cards weren't refundable so they couldn't help me. I would think they should be able to make an exception and I'm disappointed they didn't.

Very poor customer service. I had ordered a XXL Long Sleeve Black shirt to surprise my husband (a U of G alumni) and it wasn't the right fit. Due to some family issues we were unable to exchange the product within the policy. While I understand that policies are in place, almost all retailers have made exceptions. We were told that we sent it back in poor condition with stains, etc. when my husband had only tried it on. We unfortunately didn't take photos before sending the product so couldn't prove that we had sent it in good condition. They offered to send it back to us (which is basically the cost of just providing us a new T-Shirt in the right size). We will be donating the shirt to good will, my husband and I may think twice about promoting U of G if something this mundane cannot be resolved properly.

When I called to see if the bookstore was open (even though I knew it probably wasn't) but I kept seeing individuals in grad gowns taking photos on campus/around the arboretum so I thought MAYBE they were doing gown delivery, I was met with such a rude lady over the phone, making it seem like my question was SUCH an inconvenience to her.. thanks Jill! Really rude customer service in such unprecedented times, no question, even if the answer may seem obvious to you, should be met with rudeness and that kind of negative tone.

Awesome place to pick up UoGuelph items and emergency stationery. However, it is quite pricey on the clothing and items with the logo. Great service though. Very helpful staff.

Good selection of school swag and school accessories. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest prices but every purchase helps the school and therefore the students. Would be cool to see more gryph inspired items/merchandise

Excellent assortment of quality branded giftware ...from school jewelry to apparel and everything in between. The go-to spot for grad gifts, alumni mementos and spirit wear. The store staff are super friendly and helpful which makes the shopping experience a very positive one.
