Receptionist is so rude. She is making faces each times I go with my wife for an appointment. She needs to change her behaviour or her job if she doesn’t like to work. Do not treat your patients bad.

Terrible doctor, terrible staff... I initially saw Dr. Ismaili for an esophagus/GERD related issue. After an endoscopy, the medication he put me on didn't seem to be working. I went in to discuss the medication, and he started the appointment as though he had never seen me before (he acted as though the endoscopy had just been performed when it had been about a year). After putting me on a new medication, he continues to prescribe it.. however the fact sheet says you are not supposed to be on this dose for over a certain period of time. I called to inquire about this, along with another side effect of the drug I believe I am having.I was told that they will not see/speak with me until I go to get a referral from a doctor. So Dr. Ismaili can blindly prescribe me medications that could be harmful to my health.. but refuses to do proper follow up.The front desk staff was short with me, lacking compassion, and she even chortled at one point as though I didn't know what I was talking about.Go with another gastroenterologist if you can.

Recently had to have my first colonoscopy. Dr. Ismaili was personable, engaging, and was genuinely concerned with my well being. He was informative and outlined in detail the procedure.

Great team of healthcare professionals there. Kelly is fantastic and has treated my health as if it were her own. I cant stress enough how thankful I am for their extreme level of care and service. Even though their services are covered under OHIP, I feel like their service is on par with high end private for-profit specialists. If you are having any GI problems, I really recommend Dr. Ismaili

I've seen Dr. Ismaili several times. He takes his time and asks questions and looks into each case individually. I never feel rushed and he always asks me if I have any more questions. His staff is very friendly, polite and professional. He is a very experienced doctor and cares about his patients.

HE GIVE MD A 2 MINUTE CONSULT TOLD ME TO I HAD IBS ANd TO TAKE a PROBIOTIC After a year snd half called him re pain He told me to take a sitz bath What a fool as if I had not been using a sitz bath Turns out Crestor was the problem which I figured our myself Maybe he should ask more questions and investigations I would never consent to see him sgsin

Called 4 times, they kept hanging up without talking.Finally my wife called and talked to someone.Doctor was in holidays for 2 months and they only tried to call me 1 day before my appointment.Very rude.

With my respect to the posts below, I’m quite surprise about those negative comments.Let me tell you that around 9 years ago, This doctor saved my life and still saving my life untill now by his care and professional advices.I do not want to go in details but after I was bleeding with diarrhea every time I go for stool movement for more than 14 – 18 days which made me lose at least 15 kg in more than 2 weeks.After two emergency visits to St. Mary and other one visit to Grand River, The three doctors who checked me were telling me nothing wrong showing in the tests/ scans which was driving me and my family crazy at that time because I was bleeding almost every day adding to my weight lose.After my family doctor refered me to Dr Arif Ismaili, I meet with him and first word I said, Please I need your help to know what I have, I told him three different emergency doctors keep telling me all tests looks ok, follow up with your family Doctor, He checked me then asked me a few questions then told me ok, I would like to see you at St. Mary tomorrow morning to preform colonoscopy procedure on you.It went very well, He found out that I have between sever and moderate ulcerative colitis, He treated me with heavy medication in the first month then gradually I started to talk different medication(Sulfasalazine) then a year later he prescribed me (Asacol) which still taking it till now.I still see him once or twice a year with no problem or bad experience. He is a good kind man.Also, I would like to mention that his office manager is well professional and helpful when it comes to book or post bond and reschedule appointments or tests.

I’ve seen him twice and he’s been great. I hope to see him again soon.

Terrible Service, terrible stuff. we were waiting to get an appointment for 4 months for gastric Ulcer pain to have an consultation and test. When I tried to call in to make the appointment faster their office said it is not urgent appointment as our appointment booked only for colonoscopy and if we need to talk to the Dr with Ulcer we have to wait four more month!!. I get back to the family physician and she referred to another Dr. for Ulcer.Then I called to cancel the colonoscopy appointment and their office got very rude and telling me this was indeed an consultation appointment and it was my mistake or my family physician mistake. When I tried to say why do I cancel a consultation for gastric when we are badly waiting for one, the lady rudely replied stop arguing with her. no wonder why their rating is bad.**I haven't seen the Dr so no complain on that part**
