Heartwood Inn

The staff was very friendly, very nice and clean room. Quiet setting with outside seating areas. Overall a very enjoyable experience, and I will book again for next visit.

Staying at the Heartwood Inn was amazing! Zeke and Patrice were friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. We booked out the entire Inn for our wedding party and family for the weekend of our wedding and it worked out perfect. We cannot wait to book another trip to stay at the Heartwood Inn and enjoy the luxurious rooms and amazing service.

Incredible kindness and hospitality, service and food! The French toast is meticulously made, and delicious! A definite charm of Alberta!

My husband and I really wanted to love our stay at the inn, and although the owners were very nice, and offered many good recommendations for the area, the honeymoon cottage just didn't meet the standard set by the price ($250night).The antique furniture is gorgeous, and the room was cozy, but the cottage is next to the parking lot, so it is a bit on the louder side especially in the morning. You'll also need to keep all the blinds shut tight in order to have privacy.We specifically booked this suite for the jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately, we were not advised beforehand that the hot water tank can't fill the tub, so you need to actually fill a little, wait half an hour, then fill a little more. We did call the front desk to see if there was an actual water issue, and we were told that aside from bringing us a kettle there's nothing they can do. It took us 1.5 hours to fill the jacuzzi, and by then it was 10pm. If we had known anything about the water situation, we would have planned to begin filling it earlier, or would have selected a different room.It is a very expensive jacuzzi suite where you can't fully enjoy the jacuzzi, and we were not offered any sort of compensation, or even an apology even though it would appear they know the issue exists. It would be very beneficial to visitors to know the limits of the hot water before booking a suite, or even a description in the room so guests can plan accordingly.If you aren't booking strictly for the jacuzzi, then you'd absolutely enjoy your stay.

This is the second time staying in this wonderful place. The first time was by accident. I showed up and went there they had no reservations for us. But were so kind to put us up in theis cute little house with private back yard. The owners are so welcoming and willing to go beyond expectations. Thank you again for the wonderful stay. See u again soon. This is by far my favorite Inn. If u are going to Drumheller and lucky enough to get a reservation here well just know you are in for a treat.

I booked a romantic getaway for my hubby and I. I booked us the Cottage with the Romance Package. I was totally blown away. They did a beautiful job in setting this up for us. The Cottage was so clean, bed was comfortable, it was very nice and private. Having booked our accommodations here made our trip perfect. We will definitely be coming back. This was our first trip to Drumheller and this will be our accommodations choice next visit for sure.

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay! It is located downtown Drumheller with everything within walking distance.My partner made the booking as a surprise and had nothing but high praises for every interaction.Upon arrival we were greeted by the Innkeeper, Patrice, who met us at the door as if we were members of her family.Check in was easy and smooth.Upon entering our room (the Main Turret) we were both blown away by the room. We had the romance package and an added birthday snack tray...just simply amazing.The room was super clean and perfectly appointed. We had our own private entry which had a lock code programmed for us.The jetted tub is awesome and the bed was super comfortable.We asked Patrice for recommendations for supper and chose to go and pick up food and bring it back. Patrice said she would get us some cutlery so we don't need to use plastics. While we were out she set up a romantic picnic for us on our private patio..plates, cutlery, tablecloth and even two bowls of cherries. Way beyond our expectations!In the morning my partner thought they read something about coffee and called to get some brought in. Patrice was by in a few minutes with coffee and orange juice.I have stayed in some of the highest rated hotels and this is by far my favorite. We have already booked our next visit and plan on checking out all the rooms this beautiful Inn has to offer.When you check in...ask Patrice about the Rosebud dinner theater package. She takes care of organizing everything for you and you literally get a dinner and a show!You won't regret visiting this Inn.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The site map on the website is very deceiving. Who every did the website is very good at there jod. For the honeymoon cottage, is small cold and it's right beside the parking lot. No privacy at all unless you don't open your blinds. You can only fill the jacuzzi tub up about halfway. Then you run out of hot water. The showers were cold. The bathroom is very cramped. If I were to ever go back I would never spend as much as they want. I think the rooms are only worth 150 per night max. All in all for the accommodations I rated a one out of 10. The service and the lady that works there is extremely nice. It was the best part of our trip dealing with her and she is the only reason I would ever go visit a place again.

I had my favourite Travel Agent (Lynn at travel tickets to go) give me a recommendation for a romantic get away.. she booked us here.When we arrived we were met by Patrice. she was very friendly, and efficient in explaining everything about our cottage room. From the fireplace that was the source of heat, to the jet tub quaintly positioned behind a glass wall.The cottage was beautifully decorated with a country charm.Patrice asked about our wants and dietary restrictions for breakfast… we had none and asked her to surprise us. We were very impressed with breakfast both mornings! Including coffee, a mini omelette and a fruit and grain parfait (easily would have cost $50 for the two of us at any higher end restaurant…. If you could even find something)Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax!Thank you for a wonderful stay!
