Rebalance Pilates
I started seeing Robyn five years ago after a spate of some pretty crippling back pain. She helped me to rehab, then to strengthen my core, and I have never looked back; she got my body through two years of pandemic teaching online, and I continue to go in once a week for fitness. I cannot express enough how much she has changed my awareness of and relationship with my body. I feel stronger, my balance and posture are better, and my back has never relapsed. Last year I slipped in the shower. It could’ve been pretty bad, pre-Pilates. But without even thinking I caught the edges of the tub and turned a fall into a sit, something I ABSOLUTELY could not have done without the core and arm work I’ve done at Rebalance. Take a class here! You won’t regret it!

My physiotherapist referred me to Robyn to help me manage back and leg pain. Robyn has been an excellent instructor, careful, and detailed, she always surprises me with her knowledge of the human body and movement. I have learned a lot and feel more confident working with my body and just moving around in my daily life.

Robyn is the best Pilates teacher, movement coach, and ally on your journey back to strength and mobility that you'll find anywhere. It's just that simple!I've been banged up a bit over the last few years, and my weekly sessions with Robyn have been key in regaining my strength and confidence. She's trained in SO many modalities that she knows just what your body needs, and she customizes every session to how you're feeling that day. Best of all, though - she helps you feel safe. If you've been injured, you know the fear that can come with moving again, but Robyn watches you like a (gentle, supportive) hawk and makes adjustments as needed, so you're always 100% safe and moving well. She has a real gift for meshing the psychological aspects of movement with the physical ones, which is key when there's been trauma.Robyn herself is so fun to talk to, and she's fast on email and understanding when life happens and you have to cancel. The studio itself is terrific - close to transit and fully stocked with all the equipment you could ever need. I'm a big fan... can you tell?!!

I loved my pilates sessions at Rebalance. Kat and Robyn are so kind and friendly. Kat was able to match my sessions to what I needed that day and adjusted to how my body was feeling. The studio is bright, clean, and cozy. I leave every session feeling more lengthened and energized for the rest of the day.
