Yupdduk Pocha Bloor

This is one of my new favorite places to go to. For anyone who loves spice, this place does it good. Usually I can handle decent spice, but I got Level 0.5 spice and it still was a bit of a challenge to finish without taking water breaks. There's 4 levels to the spice so this is definitely a great spot for people who love spice. We always get the standard Yupgi Tteokboki and a side of seaweed rice balls. Something so simple, yet so incredibly delicious. I recommend everyone to try this place out!

Food was super yummy!! Especially the new creamy shrimp, it was big and delicious!

We went with a group of six for dinner on a Friday night. We sat and it took about 15 minutes for them to even take our order. No water or anything was brought to us.It then took literally another 45 minutes for the first round of food to come. We had ordered beer, but the server definitely forgot. I had to go to the kitchen and ask if they wanted us to leave, because they were clearly over booked.The food was brought out over the span of another 45 minutes. And to be honest, the food was great. The fried chicken was some of the best I've had. We had mostly everything on the menu, and there wasn't much to complain about taste or quality wise. Decent portions as well.Unfortunately, they really shouldn't have sat so many people with literally one server who was completely overwhelmed.Then at the end, they literally added someone else's bill onto ours and overcharged by $160+. I only found out when they emailed me the receipt because they didn't provide one before I paid. This is so beyond unacceptable. They did refund me including the tip portion, but they didn't refund the HST.The most egregious part of this whole experience was that their tips STARTED at 18%.The only reason this place is not getting a one is because the food was truly good. I hope their management skills improve because it could be a really nice restaurant. Until then though, you should probably avoid.

I havent thought like fried chicken from bars can be good but it's actually soooo good. Food is good, server is so nice and i love the ambiance. And all the food and drinks is so cheap! 100% sure that ill come back soon

We tried the new creamy shrimp from their menu and it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were nice and big and the sauce was very good! Would definitely recommend!

This brunch has most closest taste with Korea Yupdduk :)Rose rice cake is best!!!

First time trying tteokboki and it was the best experience ever! The food was outstanding and the service was so kind! The chef and the server were both patient with our modifications! Would definitely recommend you try it out

Tteokbokki was very good, classic sweet and spicy flavor you expect. Pairs well with the rice balls. It isn't as spicy as some of the other reviews have stated.

It is so underrated!This pocha (pub) has amazing vibe which many people would love.Servers are so nice and kind which made us so welcoming. Their attitude was perfect to customer.Also, the food here is so DELICIOUS!! I definitely recommend ‘porkbelly rice cake, creamy shrimp, fishcake soup and crispy chicken.’If you guys want to feel proper Korean style pub, don’t go far and come here!!
